Sorry Guys, But I Think I'm Done For Now

This isn't a whole lot of fun for me anymore. It seems like the group has segmented quite a bit since I've been here. You have the Core vs. Hardcore, Zombies vs. No Zombies, etc. going on and anymore when I try to jump on either my entire friends list is playing zombies or another game altogether. There no longer seems to be any reason for me to be in a clan. If I have to play with randoms all the time, I may as well BE a random. With that in mind, I am going to take my leave for now.

I've met some TRULY wonderful people here. You guys have changed my gaming experience in a positive way. You have shown me that there are still some good people in this world. I have had a lot of great laughs, lots of victories, lots of defeats, but most importantly I have had a great time. Unfortunately, I just don't feel it anymore and I don't want to drag anyone down by clinging on to something I no longer feel good about.

Those on my friend list will remain unless you choose to delete me. I'll play when invited as long as it isn't zombies!!!

I was going to thank some people specifically, but I know I would forget someone and then butthurt would ensue, so I will just say that my friends know who they are, my acquaintances were always a pleasure to meet, and everyone else I'm sure you're pretty okay too.

Lateralus, i'm not taking this as a good bye, more of taking a break. i think alot of people here have just grown tired of the bo2 issues and have branched out to playing other modes or different games. I my self have been playing a  few different games to change it up so i won't get to the point that you are at. i'm pretty sure when ghost comes out everyone will be back playing. hang in there bud, don't give up on this group yet.

yup personally I'm on a kind of break and honestly waiting for the one and ghosts. In the meantime I'm on FIFA it is not the end of the world waiting fro 2 more months. some days I try to play BOPS2 if lag is not terrible I stayed there if LAG is bad then I move to FIFA..... it is always good to have a B plan

The last few months before the next COD, it seems people go off to do other things. They will be back for the next one though. They always come back. lol

League has got me back into BO2. If it wasn't for league I would have put the controller down a lil while ago. Plus bow season just got here so I will be hunting for deer while I wait for ghosts. You just need a time filler. Some have taken a break some are playing a different game. But we will all be back when ghost hits the stores.

Maybe I just need to shake the sand out of my vagina and just wait.

This is just 1 of a few threads I have seen that are similar and have had a few conversations with people feeling the same. I know this is a gaming clan but I think we could agree that COD is the backbone and this BO2 game has really not delivered with any kind of staying power. I am guessing and hoping that Ghosts turn that around. I would suggest anyone feeling a disconnect or boredom or anything like that wait for about a month and a half before making any decisions. I would not want to be a random when ghosts comes out and everyone is back into the game.

This happened with at the end of Black Ops, MW3, and now with BO2. I have little faith it will change with Ghosts. That's just how it is... people essentially "finish" the game (max prestige, etc.), then get bored and look for something new and exciting.

So really, no need to leave. Take some time off, play some Harry Potter Lego, and come back when Ghosts comes out.

Come on buddy. Just take a little break then come back even more badass...if that is possible.

I am not a big fan of zombies or S&D so you can always count me in for a round of Dom.

From what I understand, those who are getting Ghosts for the PS3 and then pay $10 for the PS4 version will be able to go back and forth between the consoles and play. I think that the DLC will be restricted to one or the other, but that won't affect anything until around February anyway.

I expect to be going back and forth between consoles for most of Ghosts as not everyone is getting the PS4 right away. Don't worry, Park, you don't have to cry in your whatever the hell you people eat that causes instant tooth decay, you won't be left alone.

I'm still here.....I guess really maybe I do need a bit of a break. I just doesn't feel like it did at the end of MW3. Everyone was still having a blast and there were always people on. But at the same time, we all have put A LOT of time in this game. I'm on my 2nd Prestige Master, Para is on hers, and I know a lot of others have either re-set their stats or switched to different user names. I think I am going to finish GTA V single player then try out the online stuff and just ride it out. Hopefully Ghosts will bring the joy back.

Thanks to everyone for your advice. I never doubted that there were a lot of great people here.

Not into cust games, or zombies. So, if you see me on...I'm good for a couple of Core, or Hardcore matches.

Either way take a breather.

I'm doing the same over the next couple of weeks and I think once Ghosts comes out we'll all see where things stand.
