Please don't disappoint Ghosts because I am done with this piece of shit!

I can't believe you made it this far! lol BO2 was a broken piece of shit... and with the videos of Ghosts criticizing the hit detection and lag... i fear we might be in for another year of it

If I recall, this game, made a sub sect of use actually quit and try our own thing. That speaks for the volatility of this game as a Clan killer. I quit playing as soon as GTA V came out. Slam, I applaud you for making it this long.

I took the game out of my x box in August and snapped it in 2. Been happy ever since.

I came to realize that over the past year I was playing to hang with my friends, not because I liked this game. Over the past few days many have been playing MW3 and Im actually enjoying what Im playing!

I felt that way about BO2 and took about a month off and if not for discovering league play I may have never came back, but the competitiveness of league play I think is great. I actually enjoy going in there as a group and not knowing that we are going to dominate the game and pretty much do whatever we want. We get so used to running ramshot in pub lobbies it loses its competitive edge. League play brought that back for me. I am hoping squads or clan ops or whatever they call it in ghosts does the same.

And BTW after going back to MW3 I start remembering some of the things I did not like about that game too. 2 things especially. Semi auto Noobtubes (the worst idea in COD ever) and final stand or last chance or whatever you call it when you kill someone and they can still shoot you and lay on the ground for about 10 seconds and get up like nothing ever happened( 2nd worst idea in COD ever)

100% agree with this. I played BO2 for about the past 6 months solely because that's where the clan was, but as soon as GTA v came out, that for the most part pulled the remainder out of BO2. After that, when people did sign on to a COD game, it seemed more a lot more were choosing MW3. so it has been great to get back to that game (with all its issues)

BTW, Any body else notice that they literally can't see people as well? I swear i can't see the characters for shit.

FYI, It's is NOT unique to BO2. This happened with Black Ops.

This happened with MW3. People started playing BF3.

This happened with Black Ops 2. People started playing GTA V.

Just sayin'.

I haven't played bo2 in about a week. I took my son's mw3 and hopped on with the gang. I do not know that maps and have been getting my ass handed to me as a result, but I am actually having fun and killing people instead of being killed. I don't think I even have 7 hours total game play on it yet, but I think I will stick to mw3 until ghost comes out.

Still trying to decide if I want to take the day off for ghost or not. The thought of going to our closest store (walmart) to pick up the game makes me say no. If people smell that bad during the day I don't want to be anywhere near them at night...

Yea this game is something else now.. i took a small break from multi and went and played zombies for a good qhile and then went back to multi again.. some days are really good and more of the days it just sucks. One more week til ghost is out!!

I can't believe how people think MW3 is better than BO2. Both games each have good and bad things about them. In my opinion both equally suck and its just a matter of which game style you like.

I'll take MW3 any day and twice on Sunday. Word is that some of the game mechanics have been ported to Ghosts. Such as being able to evade dying when hit once or twice.

My opinion of the two games is based on my ego quite frankly. I like MW3 because I was good at it. I didn't like BO2 because I could never get grove going and get those great gameplays. And that's probably because BO2 was designed better in an attempt to "level the playing field". Some things they did were great over MW3.

I agree Slam. Pick your poison. My KD is the same for both games after playing each for a year approx. 1.34 --- I find the perks and gun customization in BO2 to suit my needs better. More choices to jack an item up. Just played MW3 for 3 days and hardly had a game where I went positive. Just played 3 quick games in BO2 and my was KD 1.3 or better. I find even the C4 to be less responsive in MW3.

I still enjoy COD games, my k/d in BO2 is way higher than MW3 (appx 1.7 to 1.1), once I found what I was good at I rolled with it and didn't look back. I actually just gave away my MW3 game to a friend at work, it was honestly probably my least favorite and haven't played in a long time. To each his own though, I don't judge anybody on what games they like.

Actually remember this game Slam. There was definitely some type of connection jump/lag whatever you want to call it. I started on MW2 and loved it. Ever since then I have been extremely critical of every single version COD. Guarantee I will have problems with Ghosts. On the same hand I am sure I will like something about Ghosts too.


I am with you Slam. Pretty much the social aspect that keeps me around too. Love playing with you guys! Maybe we can go retro in Ghost and do another 4 vs 4 tourney and kick ever ones butt again!
