Unbiased Xbox 1 / PS4 insider info true or ???

Came across this youtube video/blurb last night that I hadn't seen before with a person casting some very possible info on the launch fiasco and hot topics from who he says are very credible sources. This covers both consoles and to how true it is, I guess time will tell but I don't doubt some of what is being said. He also mentions limits with the game upgrading that's being pushed for Ghost and BF4

I'm noting a scary trend here with XB1 launch game news... (after clicking through a few articles at the link above...)

Ghosts isn't the only XB1 title launching at 720p / 60 fps... Battlefield 4 and Titanfall both are also only 720p @ 60 fps...

Thanks GK for the info, great vid! That guy's pretty funny, but paints a pretty bleak picture on inside PS4 networking and DRM info.

The possibility that both systems are re-working their networks due to last minute DRM removal. And Ghosts running at 720P on both systems because of the online rework. That would be some shit, and 1080P on the Wii U?! Haha!

Though he said so himself, he could be wrong, but since we want to inform about what we're hearing 'in the buzz', this is another piece of interesting info.

COD Ghosts was officially confirmed to run at a native, full 1080p on PS4 by Adam Boyes.


"After it was revealed that Call of Duty: Ghosts would run at 1080p on PS4 through a listing on the PlayStation Store, many people have been wondering if this meant it would just output in 1080p, or if it would be native 1080p.

Speaking at the Brazil Game Show happening right now, Adam Boyes, VP of Publisher & Developer Relations at Sony Computer Entertainment America, confirmed that Call of Duty: Ghosts is “native 1080p on the PS4.”" -via neoGAF

The DRM speculation was, to insiders, hilarious.  Evidently, Sony made their decision on DRM a long time ago and it was discussed when they originally approached developers to help them design the console and controller... they didn't want it so they didn't do it.  (If we are to believe more insiders / devs)


I'm positive both consoles will have a rough launch dealing with online issues and the like. That's what always happens during launch and that's the price us early adopters pay to have new shiny toys lol...

I just HOPE i'll be able to download my games on launch day... going all digital... that aspect does scare me a little to be honest!
