BF4 gli gli gli glitches

Anybody heard anything about WTF is up with the game sound issue (it cuts out completely and leaves only party chat) or with the complete hard lock out at the loading screen?

Are you still without sound? Mine cuts out at the beginning of some matches but usually come back and I had one match where the full sound was muffled. I am having more of a problem with random hard freezes.

Sound went out for 3 games straight until it hard froze and I reset. Then it came back. But then had 3 hard freezes as well.

No issues yet.

I had audio glitches in BF3... Then the dreaded disc read error with the HD textures uninstalled and disc installed to HD... always happened... nothing fixed it... why i stopped playing BF3 because id get booted from every single game at random times.  The 15th cant come soon enough!!!!!

how the fuck do you not have ANY bf4 issues mav? I find that impossible. The fucking game has enabled perma rage mode for me. Locks up my console minimum 2 to 3 times a night. Game sound typically doesn't work at the start of a match if you spawn into a vehicle of any sort. Aim down sight animation doesn't work sometimes after recovering from a fall or button mash reload. ACW-R iron sights render as a big solid block sometimes allowing you to see absolutely nothing. You can't join a queue to get into a server. If you're trying to join on a friend where the game is full yet there are open commander slots it'll just tell you there are no available commander slots. You have to attempt to find the same server in the server browser and join as commander by pressing X. Getting fucking one shotted GALORE as well as hit well behind cover. It's like I'm playing BO2 all over again.

Don't get me wrong I love Battlefield but how this game passed Microsoft QA is unfathomable to me. They obviously got paid off to let it slide.

God... I hope they fix this shit on the next Gen versions!

If they don't get some of this shit fixed why would you buy or upgrade to the next gen version gun !

the same issues are happening with PC - LevelCap just put out a video a few days ago I was shocked to see all the things I've been bitching about he also has seen on PC. Glad I didn't pull the trigger on that yet.

Not just ACW solid block iron sight. Scar-H iron sights fail to render sometimes as well.
Also spawning into a match without a gun, or with a half rendered floating gun. Even attempting to switch weapons to change/fix it and a floating pistol appears.
A big part of battlefield has always been using cover and all that, so being shot thru and behind concretes walls is beyond infuriating.
Last night (on that underground locker map with the snow outside) i had a guy lay down prone as if i had killed him, then a half submerged body torpedoed toward me with only his back exposed above the ground (like a shark) and the stabbed me from underground......Hello BO2.

I feel like they Super rushed, with a far more complex game, in order to beat the release of COD but have simultaneously shot themselves in the foot releasing a beta instead

My guess is they'll have most of it fixed by the 15th. And if not... i'll just sit on my copy. I'll be playing a lot of Killzone:SF so if BF4s broken... i'll get back to it when DICE addresses the issues. They will eventually iron it out. IDK how many of you guys remember the first month to two with BF3? Same sort of stuff... it just happens every BF release.... you come to expect it from any big game.

Agreed, I honestly don't remember it being this bad. then again, BF4 is an even bigger game. semi expected, yes, but non the less frustrating

Honestly, I think the game is really taxing the current gen systems. Hell... on low-med settings it's butchering some PC's!

DICE is a great developer and they're awesome with patches and updates... i trust they'll sort the mess out. However, i do think they'll be concentrating on next-gen/PC versions with updates/patches etc.

gun, it is happening on PC and it is just as bad if not worse....not some low-med setting PC.....we are talking about pure beast PC's.

Oh no... i'm aware... i'm more referring to how taxing it is not to the glitches errors etc.  BF4 is a much more intensive game than BF3 was.  Gamers with low-mid PCs that were able to run BF3 on lets just say 30-50fps high no AA are now only able to run BF4 at 25-40fps med-low settings.

When i saw that LC got that a few weeks ago i sorta cried.... like... someone send me one!!!! Preferably with a pair of 290x's though

EDIT: did that say MICRO atx?! That Corsair is that small? I thought it was a full?

I must be a lucky bastard, as I haven't had any of these issues. The only problem I had was freezing at loading of one of the maps. The rest seem to work fine. Also, network smoothing in the options menu is fantastic, I wish the other shooters had it.

Severed, what do you have that smoothing option set at? I set mine to 0 and it hasn't froze as much, but there are times where the frame rate bottoms out

I believe my campaign save is fucked now. The game locked up in the middle of a mission now every f'n time I try to resume the campaign it just locks up again.

Well... that's what you get for trying to play campaign in a BF game   (unless it's PC just for the pretty visuals all cranked up on ultra haha)
