New Roster??

Keep the Roster your all on as the Overall Caln Roster,

We have the 30x1 for the Xbox 1, Make a new Clan roster for the 360Ghost Clan, just for the clan wars stuff. And try it out. It can't hurt anything.

I feel your frustration Scott. Even on the X1 side, we are very small (only20 members) and out of the 20, i think i have only seen about 15 of those...but it usually comes down to the same 6-8 in a party. Now, the other members, i have seen them playing online, they just don't play with us. Like Fifty Graves plays with some of his other friends and rarely plays in our party's. I seen him in a party for the first time the other day,

Nalasedai , i have never seen on and his Stats says he has a 0.0 K/D, Same for Tinman207...


So, We do the best way can.

Last night, I played some of the clan wars stuff by myself. I won a lot because I could jump into a game that was halfway over and we would win, and I could jump out, and back into a new game really fast...


You can only do what you can do but if your not having fun, then your not doing it right. I know it gets frustrating so the only thing I can tell you that will help is..

Go buy and Xbox one and come over with us.. We would love to have you.

Must have missed those threads indeed but separating rosters due to cap limits is not my issue.  Booting members sunday night the last day of clan placement for wars was my issue.  I'll leave it at that.

I have that same problem. And what notice, I was all over these boards and did not see anything also maybe a notice through PM would have been a little better than some missed post. You made your bed now its time for you to lay in it. On another note I have been seen on the Xbox side of things since getting the X1 because there are times that no one is on the X1 and I was running with the R1 guys helping them get wins for something on the last clan war since ours was in the bag.

It is about the good or bad or even being in the 30 clan. It is the fact if you can't play clan wars there is no reason to be on a ghost roster because you are only making the road longer and harder for those that do want to play. No one is getting removed from the clan.

I am not sure cutting the current roster will help. It would probably take several clan wars for it to balance out. I have already left roster one as there is no reason to play when the other clans have 3 times as many people playing than you do.

From everything I have read about Division placement, it isn't about the number of members on a roster, but about the number of hours played by those members on the roster that are active.

We placed 3rd in the first clan war and are currently sitting in 3rd for the 2nd war. We aren't a group of try-hards, so there are some clans that we will never be able to compete with, boosters or not. Yes we do enjoy winning whenever we play, but unfortunately we aren't a group of College Kids with nothing else to do. We are a group of people over the age of 30 that can't commit all day to Clan Wars. We jump online when we have time and have finished other commitments in life.

If there is a worry about those that don't participate in clan wars, it would be better off to clean up Roster 1 instead of starting a new Roster. There are a number of names on the roster that are also on the list of names to be removed from the forum for inactivity. Roster 1 has already achieved so much as far a clan level and a third place finish in War #1. To throw all that away just for a possible opportunity to win a war makes for a tough decision.

With the holidays upon us, gaming will probably take a backdoor for a lot of us. If a new roster is wanted for people who only want to participate in clan wars, this may not be the best time to figure out who has time to play or not.

You are correct on most of that but smaller rosters have smaller amounts of games to take objectives. Also you will be placed with clans with similar numbers of members. Hence a clan with 10 won't be placed against a clan with 100. I have sen post on other frums about this clan wars and platinum clans with 30-40 members only needing 100-200 wins for domination and 100 for tdm and less for other nodes. So number of members plays a huge part when you have 60 that barely play the game. I understand holidays will limit some peoples time. That isn't a big deal.I would like to keep the roster to less than 50 as I think it will be more managable and will give us a chance.
We have been playing clans that on average have 24-32 layers online at a time. Smaller clans will cut down on that number. Because we only average 8-16 and sometime more in the evenings.
I don't want to remove anyone as I think that would cause hurt feeling and I also believe the placement of roster one may take some time to balance itself out even if we cleaned the roster down to 50. I could careless about a gold clan tag really and all other stuff can be unlocked again in the games life cycle. Not to mention I think you keep previously unlocked patches and backgrounds.

Ok, so I'm not exactly sure why you left if you don't have another Ghost clan to join? Now your wins count for nothing in clan wars. You should have at least stayed until it all sorted itself out. Unless you've made your own Ghost clan...

Well my time played will count for the new roster placement. I don't know how your side has been going but when the clans you are matched against have already tripled your CP score on day 2 because they have 3 times the amount of people playing. Well I know when to raise the white flag.

I didn't see your new Ghost clan until after I posted.  To me, this has the feel of the whole gamebattles thing that we went through with BO2.  With some people wanting to be more competitive.  Remember, the purpose and intent of this clan is to be laid-back and pressure free.

Personally I don't think it's something to get worked up about, but if it works for you guys, great.  I say it's not that much to get worked up about because... I think about how hard I tried to get diamond camos on BO2 and look where they are now... lol

A year from now, I don't think anyone will care about Ghosts Clan Wars.  I just want to play video games with my friends. But, to each his own and

I dont think that it is the amount of players that matter because we did not grow since the last more than a few players. I think it is the division or maybe a combo of the two. Now that we are in the silver division our Win Cap for Dom is 100 it was 30 for the last division and TDM is 50 it 25 in the last one as well.

I agree with Walldoggy and the others that state that this clans purpose isnt about the competition but the able to play and hang with like-minded friends the way we are acting on here most of the time I really cant say mature. The thing is that there are some people myself included that are very competitive are not we the best, far from it. However there is this objective before us and we race blindly toward the light trying to take that objective like most of us are about the capture of "B" dom in domination. Was I mad about what happened. Hell yes if you where going to do the separation then it should have been done prior to the clan war placement weekend so those who where going to be moved would have been able to have their work count towards the roster that they would have landed on. But enough of that, we are all different in this clan we will have spats and spiffs and other types of crap that come up. But those who have stuck it out will work it out. This is paramount to another split, because of a silly timing issue. We need to grow up a little and work this out like adults. If another more competitive roster is needed then so be it but lets pull up our big boys pants and work it out.

I see winners point. If we have a clan of 100 people and only 25 are playing, versus a clan with 30 people and 25 playing, the people with less in their clan are going to rise quicker than the bigger clan with less people playing.

I am not trying to divide the clan in which I knew this was going to happen anyway. I am just trying to give those of us that put in the effort and enjoy clan wars a fighting chance at winning and getting our unlocks and shit that we want. Yes I play with anyone and everyone who is on and we are all 30's. I don't see how it is like game battles at all. We are playing regular 6v6 multiplayer games and it is the same 25-30 of us on and playing together every night fighting a losing battle.

Tyden it is 400 wins for Dom for us and 200 wins for TDM there is no way us 25-30 people can get that many games in. I can gladly link you to some post of smaller platinum clans requiring way less wins. So it does have some bearing to the number of people on the roster.

If the majority of people here have a problem with this that is fine. I can go elsewhere. That is not a threat as this is a great community and I have been here 2 years but I do not want to cause a ruckus.

Ok so it must be a combo of # of players in the clan and the Clan war lvl that accounts for how many wins is required to capture the node on the map. Hell I have no issue with you and the other guys joining in on our roster because most of us are actively playing the clan wars.

In reference to the "Number of members relates to number of wins needed"....

The first clan war, P1 was placed in Platinum and we only needed 100 Dom wins.
In the second clan war, P1 was placed in Gold and we need 400 Dom wins.

Nothing changed in the roster between the 2 wars. I think the first clan war was a test to see how things would play out. Now they're starting to iron out all the boosting and everything, so it's changed a little bit. Now if only they would put HCDom in there... we'd never lose the node.

No we will just be playing or placement this weekend. We couldn't even compete with the clans we were faced against due to activity.
