Xbox One Roster Cut

Hey Guys

I wanted to start a discussion on moving the members of Xbox One that do not really help out in clan wars a lot to the x30x roster. The x30x is our main roster and its OK for you to be there, no matter what system you have.

We have been adding everyone with XB1 to the XB1 roster, but this is really making it unfair for the users that put there heart and soul into Clan wars.

For the same reason winners created the new 360 roster, the larger the roster number gets, the bigger clans we play against.

This has no direct reflection of you as a player, or as a 30 member. It seems every clan war, we have a handful of members that really play a lot, and then we have some that I still have never seen help us.

So,I am going to start taking a good look at this roster and start some conversations with people about moving over to the x30x roster.

If you are one of those people that get asked to move, do not take it personal. Your still part of the clan, and you can still play with all the xbox one members. Nothing will change on that. Its just we need to really cut a lot of people because your not doing anything to help the ones that are really putting all they got into these clan wars.

I've lost any and all motivation to play Ghosts for the time being at least.

Definitely guilty of being a no show for clan wars up until this one. I am slowly getting back into the mix. Will remove myself though since I can't guarantee 100% commitment. Honestly no big deal to me if you are looking for highly active players.

Well, no one is going to get kicked yet. We can't do anything about it for this clan war, so, before the next one starts, we will figure something out.

We have 2 weeks to talk about it.

It makes sense for people who have not played to be removed from the roster. On the other hand its a shame our Xbox members are divided up into 3 rosters. Can you imagine how many groups of 6 would could have going each night. Don't forget though that not everyone wins a clan war everytime and all of us are always juggling our personel lives and gaming all the time. We played many hours last night and we lacked direction on what game modes we should be focusing on.

This is why i wanted to start this thread. I want people opinion. I do not want to make this myself. I want to hear from the Xbox 1 Roster people and there thoughts.

I agree, its a shame to have all these rosters. I would like to just have 1 for the Xbox 1, but , I do not want to punish the ones that want to win clan wars and all of that.

If all the xbox one members would play, then we would not have this issue. I do not mean in clan wars.

For example: Deadmyt, Above he asked me to go ahead and drop him, well, I do not think he should be cut because he does help us. He may not play all the time, but he does play. I have seen him in lobbies, and I have seen him playing.

I am really talking about the people we never see. We have a couple of Old members, and we have some brand new members, that have been added, that we have just never seen.

Those are the ones I'm really talking about.

I also think that just because someone is not playing "Right now" does not mean they do not play or help. Not everyone needs to spend each day on this thing. We all have lives outside of this, and this is just a game so, if they have at least attempted to play, and have fun with us, then they do not need to be moved.

But once again, i wanted to open this up to everyone. I like to get everyones opinion on it. I do not just cut people because "Im the leader"...Thats not how this works. I think that each and every member on this roster should have a voice in what happens. ...This is also why i asked about the Diamond Division, because i want to hear from each and ever person.

I have also noticed that no one listens to me on that. If i have a node that is tagged as the primary target, I see people playing other games and not even listening to me.

its a shame to, because I look at the whole board and do a calculation on what we need to be doing. I think I have one of the best strategic plans, but no one listens to me..

I had no idea you were tagging nodes. It's also a shame the new guys are not sending out fr. I don't follow new applications and who are being added to the roster. Alot of people including myself don't have the app to know what were supposed to play. I also don't think deadmyt should leave the roster.

You don't really need them on your FL to play with them just pull it up under clan and you can see anyone who is on and send invites at will. As for no direction, my app was being a POS last night, we had JAH post on the chat what we were working on and it seemed both parties were following the same course.

If you look at the app. Go to Clan Wars... When you see all the nodes, one of them has a red box above it saying "Primary Target"

I look over all the nodes and see what should be the best node to go after and make that the target.

I just learned something. I will make sure when in parties to bring up if we are going after targeted nodes.

I usually don't have the app with me when I play and rely on the lobby for the target. Vidz, the message asking about TDM last night helped to get us on target until someone joined the lobby with the app.

I've mentioned it before but I would prefer getting Xbox messages about primary or secondary CW targets as they change. They can be sent easily, I think to multiple people at same time from xboxlive.com.

Regarding roster adjustments before a new CW, I'm fine either way. I like winning the new gear (head gear, suits, camos, etc.) and ranking up the clan, but if we don't get top 3 placement, o'well, we didn't loose any money and still -should have- had fun playing with the clan.

Adjusting the roster before a new CW makes sense. The only thing 'lost' by the players who are 'adjusted' is that they don't receive any camo/gear we may win for that CW. And if you're one of the players cut, it's very likely the unlocks aren't that important to the player because they aren't playing much during CW anyway.

Vidz, as clan leader, do you get a 'print out' list of clan stats, play times, etc? I wouldn't mind that list be posted after each CW - I'd be interested in seeing the data and how I rank up, progress etc. Anyway, based on the clan stats, a clan 'adjustment' list can also be posted with upcoming cuts/additions for next CW. Anyone who disagrees or states they will actually play during next CW will be maintained/added. It should be a transparent and flexible system, but overall, with X1 roster growing automatically with new members, adjustment - if you have the time/patience to do it - make sense to me.

That would be very interesting to see a detailed clan wars stats sheet. BTW, I don't have a android phone. I have a windows phone version 7.8 and there is no app for it. I only have access to a android phone if my daughter is home and shes not using it. In game messages would work for me.

I always have my mini-ipad thing downstairs with the main system during the CW. It works perfectly for CW and makes tracking the nodes pretty easy (when the app actually works). I can say this, vids, when the "main target" did come up, both groups started hitting it and Jah was pushing where they were headed each time they moved nodes. It worked fairly well once we were all on the same page.

As far as the trimming, there is good and bad for each COA. If there was a way to coordinate with a group each night, that might work. Didn't we do that when the BLOPS2 "wars" happened? I know those were only stretches of set hours, but if we set up times for play times that certain individuals could make more regularly...maybe we could get get little clicks happening. Eat up some nodes.

Either way, I am still having fun. Except for search and rescue. I am horrible. Just...horrible.

Vidz I understand that it looks like we are not "listening" to you in the clan war but the truth of it is why waste our time on a node that it supercapped and been our primary target for days in the clan war when there are other nodes that are open. The strategy that most of us have is to play the nodes that are open and get as many wins and attempt to cap that node if not get as many wins in that node prior to it being capped by another clan. The reason for that is make some other clan drop that lockout on the node and get frustrated with that game type and when we get a chance again we will be there to swoop in and cap it right under their noses. For example. We got Dom the other night almost capped it was locked out at 77 wins for us the other clan got to the 80 one game before we did. So we moved on the the next open one. The next day it was open and one win got us the Dom Node why waste the effort and time on a Node that is capped when their are ones that are open. If they are all capped we look at the nodes to find the one that is closest to being unlocked and how many wins we would need and then go for there if there is a clan that is really close to capping it after the unlock we may pick another one. Everything is weighted out and thought out it's not like we are just going after nodes willy nilly.

there does have to be a commitment,im sorry to be one of the ones not playing right now,i usually do but havent been able to,i should have backed out of the roster,and if everyone checks themselves before each clan war and does what is fair to everyone else,then the leaders dont have to be the bad guys and kick people

Interesting thought about a role call before a clan war. Members either sign up or their omitted form the war. Being in platinum division with the active group we have is not nearly enough to get the job done.

Roll call sounds like a great idea. Name just a sign up thread before each war?

This being my first clan war, I'll leave the argument over strategy to you folks. But I will say it's a bit confusing. I saw the primary target, but it seemed outdated based on more recent events. I assumed it was from earlier in the day cause Vidz was no longer online.

I suppose the clan wars are a bit too new for there to be a definitive strategy guide in existence, but maybe those with more experience could put something together for new members?

This Shit is intense and I'm having a blast, thanks so far for the fun.

Just kick me. I have no plans to play CoD anymore as of right now.

BF4 is finally running pretty good so that's that for this veggie.

Then there is Forza as well eating up my playtime. CoD is just not in the plans.

I as well like the roll call idea. I am new, and this was my first clan war. I had alot of time to put in this time around, but I know that I may not next time, and wouldn't want to hinder any progress. That being said, what if I know I can put in a good 10 hours over the war? There has to be a balance. Just looking at the results and how we really moved up starting Friday night, I think some people were more able to play over the weekend. I would have loved to help out today, but work came first. I am trying to think of how to compete with a clan like SiNs, who took first place, and can't really come up with a good plan. They had more people ready to play all the time. I think that is what it comes down to. I also like the idea of Diamond, but it could get ugly without a great schedule for a large clan such as this with everyones commitments. I have read that you can try, and then opt out, but cannot participate until the next clan war. I would be willing to try, but we would have to look into the time scheduling for max effort. 2 rosters? One diamond and one regular?
