| So, I finally have this Cobra suit operation available. I don't have the Ghillie Suit available.
What are your tips to get this damn thing the fastest? I see i have to put on the Variable Zoom lens to get it.
Should i just track it, and wait for the Ghillie suit to come around, or should i go ahead and start working on it?
What gun did you find to work best for you? What game type?
Any tips would help
Thanks

| I kept spending squad points on new operations until I had both the cobra suit and ghille suit operations available. That way you can just do them both at once.
Use the USR with chrome barrel and variable zoom. The perks I used were ready up, quick draw, dead silence, amplify, and focus. Your choice of an I.E.D or pistol secondary. Normally ran support streaks with this (sat com, ammo crate, ballistic vests).
I didn't do a specific game type. It's a pain in the ass to get, and nothing will make it easier.

| The perks zero suggested are awesome. That's what I use to do a little bit of quick scoping. If you want to hang back, I would suggest taking off ready up and dead silence, and use incog. | |

| oh, good tip.
Since i suck at snipping anyways, i think I will do that..I don't know how to quick scope, so I won't be running around anyways
not a bad start, played 2 games and I'm 18/100 on each of those ops...350 just seems so far away...LOL

| I have found that Hardcore Dom is good also for getting sniper kills. With it being HC it will be a little easier to get kills with the lower health setting and then with Dom there is no set kills to end the game. Depending on the map I will either hang back and cover the flag that is close to your starting point (because you know someone on the other team will try to take it several times) or cover B because it will have the most activity.
I too am not the greatest sniper and found that I was able to get 100 kills within a good two hours. I have been using the Lynx with Chrome Barell and Varible Zoom.
I will have to try ZerioDivide's set up though and see if that will help me a little.

I agree with using Incog. Â Since you will generally be stationary, it's good to stay off the scopes of anyone running thermal. Â I usually ran L115 with Thermal and Chrome Barrel. Â P226 with Muzzle brake. Â At minimum, I suggest Incog, Amplify, Ready Up and then whatever else you want. Â I did initially use Stalker and Focus, but then I moved to a new guy and he didn't have them, and I got used to not using them. Â If you only use one sniper rifle, I suggest trying to do lean and prone kills to while trying for the two camos. Â By the time you are done with the Ghillie, you will almost have the Gold Camo too! One last tip. Â Be wary of the maps you are using. Â There are some that are good for sniping, others not so much. Yes:Octane - all the places you would think: above Gas Station, Pinkeez, motel, Pawn, etc. Â Can get lots of lean kills here. Overlord - Top of the A building, or on the A ridge looking down onto the middle, A spawn, or the back of the hanger. Prison Break - Top of the B Ridge, looking down at the bridge coming from C. Â Good place to get prone kills. Â I was able to get a 10 or 12 kill streak covering the bridge. Â I like it better here than the guard tower, which has too many ways to get shot at. Sovereign - Interesting in that this is an indoor map. Â However, it has two long corridors next the B that provide good cover. Â I like to (when starting from A) either lie down at the top of the yellow stairs looking to the left of B, or lean out from the boxes on the ground level. Stormfront - Go to the top of the mall and scope in on the restaurant sniper spots, or vice versa. Â You can also cover the ways to B from C. Â Snipers generally trade shots back and forth on either side of the road. Â Lots of people using Thermal on this map, so Incog is important to give you the slight advantage. Â You can get lean kills using any of the vertical window sills on the mall side. Warhawk - Since it seems everyone loves to go in the bakery, I like to stay across the map in the antique shop. Â Can get lean kills from both the antique shop and bakery. Maybe:Freight - Top of the barn is problematic sometimes as everyone looks there. Â Middle level does give you good sight into the 2nd level brewery. Â You can also camp the tunnel part, and go for lean kills too, but the map is kind of random. Siege - On Dom, it's good to snipe from above B, especially from the A side. Â Otherwise, I avoid this map as much as possible because it seems just too big and people are moving around too much in doors as much as possible. Stonehaven - Very big map with too many hills and obstructions for my taste. Â But some kills can be had, especially overlooking the Dom flags. Â But in TDM, it's easy to get flanked before you pick anyone else up, especially if you are hard scoping. Whiteout - If you do it here, go to the last house on the A side next to the totem pole. Â Lean out the window or door to cover the ship and the C Spawn ridge. Â Or you can try the saw mill, looking at the frozen lake, or C spawn. Â Or C Spawn looking at the saw mill. No - Small, mostly indoors maps:Chasm Flooded Strikezone Tremor

| I had to have focus, especially with chrome barrel. The sway was way too much for me. I always left stick click when I zoom in, but when idle, it was tough to get on target. I agree with the maps you suggested not to snipe on. Flooded is a toss up for me. I always have to have an IED to watch my back. I tend to run around the perimeter and try to maintain the choke points on the map. | |

| Flooded is awesome for sniper kills just stay either end of the map in the middle, you'll be surprised just how many kills you can get with all the noobs jumping from parking lot over to office buildings, just stay off the thermals and your golden. | |

| Don't get overwhelmed. I thought the same when I started Master III for the Chrome Barrel. If you play with clan members it makes it a lot easier because you can have someone you trust watch your back to pick up more kills. Also playing with clan members if you place yourself in the right spot the opposing team will funnel towards you to pick up the kills.
If you cannot get with clan members try HC because it is a little easier to kill the opposing team because it is more One Shot One Kill.
About 120 more to go for me.

| Octane and Freight are my two favorite because I camp off to the sides and cover B.
If you start at C on Octane run to above the mechanic and you can pick off at least two people running from lower motel going towards B. I have picked up several double kills with one shot doing this.
On Freight if you camp on the sides of the map you can again cover B.
