what kind of tv are you guys using

what type of tv's are you guys playing on
I've got a 55 inch plasma 1080p, I have had other guys come over and they it is hard to play on the big screen vs a small screen, I don't think this is the reason that i am not too good at this game b/c I still stink on a small screen , may be i am getting old.

50 inch 1080 plasma. Surround sound Tritton pro headset. Made me much better becuase I can see better with my old eyes and hear better with the surround sound. I think it helps aiming becuase it is larger. definetly helps in the long shot dept.

where I have noticed the biggest problem is playing on a friend's LCD, there is a choppy type lag to the movements vs the plasma

I run an InFocus SP4800 projector, 90" screen, & 1080i with Turtle Beach PX21s for sound.

I still sux0rs.

I've just got the basic 32" Samsung LCD HDTV. It does have some neat things to it like plugging in the PC, and stuff, but, it's the LaZBoy recliner that makes it worthwhile. I kick that thing up and I'm just tasty pudding

I'm pretty much in the same boat as Shroom.

72" toshiba HD-DLP . I think a TV in 40's is probably an optimal size for gaming, but the big screen is just so much fun. The biggest problem I have with a large screen is that I have to look up at my mini map. On my old 55" I could see the mini map while still looking at the crosshairs.

42" Panasonic Plasma 1080p. I used to play on one of the old Big Box Toshiba 56"-er's. Never again. I love my HD.

AGREEEEE. My brother has a panasonic 50 inch and god it sucks to play on his tv. On topic : I dont use HD tv's to game. I have a 40 inch panasonic CRT.

LCD Vs Plasma

The difference is the refresh rate. Lcd refreshes at 60Hz Plasma refreshes at 650-660Hz(could be different # depending on the brand). The difference in the rates make a huge difference when gaming. The higher the refresh rate the less screen lag (diifferent than internet connection lag) you see.

My living room TV is a Visio LCD 1080 47". I thought that I was going to pull a fast one on the wife and swap the 47" for the 42". I swapped them out, the screen lag was terrible just playing combat training. I swapped them back the next day.

I play on a 60" Sony LCoS as my main tv. I also occasionally play on a Epson projector on a 118" screen. I find that to be too intense usually for first person shooters and reserve it more for single player stuff.

me - 55" Samsung LED LCD that may be running at 120Hz, but it never tells me for sure. I had a 32" before and I agree that there is less eye movement required, but I still like the bigger size now that I am used to it.
Next time I will go for plasma because there is no ghosting or smearing effects that I see now during quick movements in dark to light transitions.

lol i play on a 27inch flat panel old school tv rofl.... my 46 inch tv is in the shop but hey its all good

70" JVC 1080P HD-ILA It's pretty sweet. I can't see how playing on a smaller screen would be helpful. I played on my son's 32" and could hardly see the HUD. It was like playing HC. Heck the HUD is about 18" on my big screen.

42" Sharp LCD 1080p....never thought about the LCD lag before...something to think about for a next purchase..

55" Panasonic 720 Plasma...love the blacks and the quick movement. I gotta agree that I can't imagine playing Blops on anything smaller.

Vizio 37" 720p with Tritton AX720s and a Rocker gaming chair. So far, nothing has improved my gameplay...I suck a$$

With my 32in Vizio it looks to me like im on the low end of the scale but it works for me Im looking into a 40in samsung LED in the near future though. Ive had my Vizio for 4 years i think and its "old" compared to other LCDs but ive always loved the pic i get from it. My living room in my apt isnt small but im thinking anything over 40 or 42 will be overkill. I think most of all putting some decent $ into buying a comfy executive helped my gaming.

55 inch Sony LCD 1080 and TB-PX21's good match and the lazy boy...

I have a 42" LG LED, 1080, 120hz in my office where I can close the doors and sit in a big comfy chair. Triton headset. I have noticed a difference when I moved to the higher refresh rate and have no complaints! That said, I could have a friggin movie theater in my house and I'm not sure it would do much for my game! :-)
