Are you sure it is live and not your IP provider?

Yeah, everything else works fine. I was actually VPN'd into my work etc. That stupid patch really jacked me up, I am able to get in if I play a couple rounds of spec-ops... which is really odd..

After the update, when I first went to log in I received a notice saying my account was not permitted to use xbox live. Thought I got banned for a minute. Restarted and everything was fine.

Hopefully they will get all this stuffed fixed soon so we don't have to worry about this but as long as there are hackers out there this will probably go on for the next couple of months.
