| Last night, I had a similar experience. About 6 of us were playing Dom, and somebody was attempting to get the MOAB and ended up with a 53:3 KDR. After leading by about 30-50 for the entire match, one of the guys asked everybody to allow the other team to capture all 3 points so that he could get his MOAB. Guess what happened? Is it wrong that I was pissed off that one person chose themself over the team? |

| Was that Ali-A? If so that sucks cuz I actually like his videos. Now not so much. Thats douchebaggery at its highest. I love how he didnt pick up the tags but rather lets the other team come and get them while he camps them. Lame gameplay in my opinion. |

Was it one of our clanmates asking this? Why bother? I wouldn't have an issue with it if one of my teammates wanted the MOAB, I'd support them in any way I could, but I'd want to know about it before the match started and to be playing "the proper" game mode, groundwar TDM or KC. But really, only pedophiles get MOABs. |

| Honestly, I don't remember the guy's name and don't know if he was in the clan, but he WAS in the party that I was invited to by a member of the clan. One of my pet peeves is selfish game-play, because I always go for the objective and sacrifice myself, my KDR, and/or my accuracy for the team. However, after a game like that, I wonder if it is worth it.
Fortunately, after playing with the >30< for the past month, last night was my only negative experience. |

| Did you guys watch the video to the end? The narrator is a f'in idiot... "I'm gonna blame his teammates for this loss for not picking up the tags. You can see he tried to pick up a many tags as he could, esp. near the end." I think he missed at least 20 tags in this game play...red and yellow ones. Agreed, guys like this should stick to TDM. |

| I can't condemn the guy. A good killer is a great asset in a KC match. It requires collecting tags, so kills need to happen to generate those tags.
Quite frankly, I don't know how the hell they lost. He produced 92 sets of tags alone, so obviously his teammates weren't picking them up either. Sure he ran past some, but I'm not going to rip him for that. Not to mention he had countless reapers and Ospreys providing support suppressing enemy advancement. If we had this kind of player on our team, I'm fine with that. Others should know they have a guy who will produce tags, and they need to collect them.
In Dom, the killwhoring is also effective if they are running major killstreaks that help suppress the enemy and keep them indoors away from our flags.
The only time I think you are a weasel for killwhoring is if you run Specialist and go for the MOAB. That's selfish. Keep that for FFA.

FBD, you bring up some very valuable points...I stand corrected. |

| True FBD. If we had a guy like that on our team we would win since the rest of us would hopefully be grabbing tags. I would gladly take a death if I could grab 3 tags on the way.

on the flip side, if he had just grabbed 1/10 of what he walked away from they probably would have won. And there were at least 10 that he could have grabbed without risk. |

| The Mother Of All Bombs. It's MW3's version of the nuke, but the game doesn't end when it's deployed. It's a hidden 25 killstreak which isn't stacked by killstreaks. When it's deployed everyone on the other team is killed and their minimap is disabled the rest of the game. It's very hard to get so you won't come across it much. It is annoying when someone sets it off against you. Only happened once to me though so far. |

| Mother Of All Bombs. Its Nukeesque. But it doesnt end the game just kills the entire other team once and apparently gives you double xp for the rest of the game. Moab requires 25 legit gun kills. No killstreak kills. |

| I've never had one used against me. Yet.
I agree that the guy could have grabbed a few more than he did with minimal risk, but I'll forgive any of you from neglecting tags if you call in half a dozen reapers and ospreys in a KC match. I'll run into certain death to grab 3 tags on the way. |

| Well the drawback is only the killer sees the gold tags on her/his minimap.
The rest of the team only sees the gold flags when they're right in front of them or close to their field of vision. If we had someone fill that role, they'd need to call out where the tags are located so we could go pick them up. |

| He didn't grab tags because he didn't want the game to end...why would he when he's racking up kills like that?
But not grabbing red tags right in front of you is just plain stupid... |

| I agree, he had dozens of opportunities to grab tags, both enemy and friendly and chose not to. He was like many other tool boxes in this game he's playing TDM in a completely different objective based game. As stated, his teammates don't see all the downed yellow tags so they have no clue where he's mass raped people unless they come across them by chance. Yes, perhaps if they has captured more in their travels, but he is equally to blame for his selfish kill whoring. He cared more about racking up kills than winning the objective and thus, the match.
I can see the value of having a great killer on your team, but in a communicating team atmosphere. Was he alerting his teammates where all these open tags were? He got 92 kills and captured 3 total tags and it seems they may have even been by accident on his part.
He deserved to see derriere at the end. |

| I'm most amazed that he can have that many kills in a groundwar game without somebody spawning 3 feet behind him and shooting him in the back... |
