Hey guys, gotta go......

This is SN0WR1DER, some of you may have noticed my lack of activity in the past few weeks. Everything is fine, I'm still alive.

I have realized that gaming has taken to much time from my family..... I had lost sight of my priorities.
Nearly lost my wife in the process, but I came to my senses. I had a problem. Some may call it an addiction. Anyway I have lost to many precious hours of my life recently and have alot to make up for...

Sorry to hear that snow, you will be missed. I think sometimes that we all may spend a little too much time in the game room. You got to take care of your family first and foremost. Stop in if you ever want to say hi.

I been in the same place and took about a year off from any online games. Its very hard to find the right balance between it all, I still don't think I have..... its a tight rope we walk.

I'm sorry to hear this Snow, gonna miss gaming with you bro! I've been in the same situation as well and did the exact same thing you are. When I did get back to gaming, I found a happy medium that my wife and I were both ok with. Good luck with everything and hope to see you on the boards from time to time!

Snow you will be missed, come back when you can. Thats why I only play a few nights a week or my wife would throw the ps3 out of the window. Take care man

Really sorry to see you go Snow, we've played an absolute ton together, but I also get that sometimes priorities have to change.

Same goes for me, you won't be off my list and always welcome to pop in even if you aren't "officially" part of the clan.

I've been thinking about this and I personally don't see any reason for someone in need of a break to officially leave the clan. If life gets in the way, everyone here understands. Keep your account, and maybe someday things will change and allow you to play a game or too with your old clannies, or at least bust some balls here on the boards.

We've had a few guys delete their accounts for similar reasons, but I hope that in the future if anyone needs a break for an extended time they will just leave their account in tact. We'll keep a seat at the table for you.

Snow, sorry to see you go. Although I have not played with you in some time if you're still on my FL, that is where you will stay.

I'm betting the vast majority of us married guys are experiencing a mild form of what Snow has went through, and I too say that family is first (although I only have a wife and two dogs). However, I'll second FBD's comment on deleting the accounts.

Unless your habit is so bad that you absolutely must go cold turkey...
