| Ok, so I need some help here. My band is trying to come up with a really good name, and it seems like everyone we think of that is really good is already taken. I would love some ideas (Ones that I might actually use preferably). We play Metal/Hardcore with some Hard Rock influence. If you guys can think of anything it would be a tremendous help.
Thanks! |

| Some kick ass metal band names-
Falcon Punch (f zero cartoon)
Hadouken (the name of the power punch in Street Fighter)
I like this name, but not for a metal band...more of an indie band name-
Onomatopoeia- the naming of a thing or action by a vocal imitation of the sound associated with it (as buzz, hiss, roar)
or
His Boy Elroy (Jetsons) |

I said it once in reference to my vasectomy. Everyone thought I was talking about a band.

I kind of like that. It's hard to describe our band. Like I said it is definitely metal/hardcore based, but we have also been compared to Tool (but way WAY less talented) in the way we construct our songs. |

| I wonder if the name isn't starring you right in the face?
Maybe a bit dark but I always liked your DarkkerDaze name. |

Forgive me if I'm not aware, but you regularly have to perform this task? Hopefully you're only cleaning up your own mess and not someone else's...Do you work at an adult video store? |

| No sillies. Its the mens bathroom at the truck stop. He is usually in the stall that services the glory hole. Now we have derailed Darkers thread about band names. Back to the potential names. I don't think Glory Hole would make a great band name, plus its probably already taken. |

| NOTHING i mean NOTHING compares to Tool....that being said, he is not telling the truth about what style they are. They are a country band infused with techno/pop and speed metal, thats the truth right there... here is a better list http://www.tntradioempire.com/links/86442032.htmlI thought you were not going to post this on here Mike? |

| My buddy and I sometimes throw around euphemisms for private parts and have some real gems that may work for a metal band:
Lady parts: Fuzzy Lap Flounders Whisker Biscuits Vertical Tacos
Or howabout
Cornholes: Pink Starfish Balloon Knots
Or maybe
Excessively Large Labia: Beef Curtains Jerky Drapes Lox Lips
