Playing Mic-less

As I am on the road for work for a couple weeks, I thought I would tote the XBox along to get into some campaign action. "No need to bring my mic", I thought. But alas, I have a good internet connection where I'm staying and so, MP it is. I apologize to those of you that have sent invites over the last week. I hear y'all just fine and appreciate your callouts. Sorry I can't do the same.

I would also like to apologize to those that I have joined, unsolicited, for the same. There have been a few games where being able to communicate in-game would have made the difference (200-197 DOM), but overall, a full >30< team mops up, huh?

OK, no hard feelings if you would like to boot me for another clannie with a mic if full; please just ask that I bow out and it's done. I know that I sometimes when with a 6-man team with only 4 mics, so no worries. I'll be back home shortly after Victor Cruz scores the winning TD, but will continue to play online till then.

Thanks! It may be the connection, but I'm routinely scoring 2K+ and winning DOM games as a lone wolf. K/D has been rising too, so perhaps it's not a "good" connection here, but rather an advantageous, albeit slow, connection. Whatever. We'll see when I get home if I'm back to my mediocre self.

I have noticed that I often do better in random games. I thought it might be due to the fact that in random games I am being placed with the best connection, as opposed to having to link up with clan members from across the continent, or sometimes the globe.
