Wow!

Very enjoyable last night and probably going forward... lag **seemed** better too (biting tongue)

Last night sucked balls, the lag was shit for me. The comm was good for a change.

I can't say the lag was any better, we had to bail on a couple matches. It helped playing against some level 1 players.

The match making seemed worse last night.

Agreed. Last night I heard people speak who's voices I'd never heard before. And now, people can hear the middle of jokes instead of just the first three words and the last syllable.

death threat got it right, I broke theflyingmanorah's bluetooth that I borrowed prior to getting my Trittons by throwing it... I am more careful with my $50 controller tho

I am controlling myself a lot more lately since Rif has to mute me during games and thats no fun!

At this point I'm not so actively damning this game now 'cause 74% of why I play is for the dirty words we all like share with eachother.

Lag didnt seem too bad when I was on last night, now if they would just nerf the fucking quickscopers, life would be grand!

Hallelujah!!! I reckon shit lobbies and lag comp will happen from time to time, so it goes. But to be able to talk to one another again makes up for those crap matches. We were killing it this morning with a group of 6, laughing, bullshitting, working together and just having a blast.

Not good for BF3 I am afraid... wonder how much I can get for it @ gamestop.

Has Bowling ever said anything about fixing up the party privacy? Lag is going to exist no matter what. It existed in every series and although the compensation sucks, I can deal with it because playing with clanmates just makes the whole thing fun.

I've never seen or heard of him or IW addressing the party privacy issue

If this is true the game might get put back into my PS3. Have to try it out this weekend

It's nice to be able to hear everybody again. But this is a bullshit fix. All they did was squash the sound quality, so that we can hear, but it sounds like everybody's on a bad phone line. Surely there's enough bandwidth available to at least get it to skype sound quality.

I hadnt played this game in something like 3 weeks so i threw it in last night just to see how this new patch affected things. Yeah comms were better but it doesnt make up for the horrendous fucking lag and glitching. First game was fine as i saw little lag and i went 22-3 on village then everything went downhill from there. Long wait times for games then matches not being able to be finished due to host migration and such. Throw in a glitch filled few mins on dome and my irritation rose quickly. I lasted about 15 mins more before i split back to BF3. I had said before ill be playing when the new maps come out but now im not really seeing that happening. I have enough shit in real life to piss me off and gaming is one of my "get aways" so playing something that only adds to my frustration isnt going to happen. Sorry guys i miss and love playing with ya but ill be in the land of BF3 from now on.

the comms make such a difference, I have lost 2 games since the patch, to me the lag seems better, even Jerry is getting 3-4 bars

The comms are much improved, it's enjoyable. But we were experiencing so much framerate issues it was unplayable at times yesterday. And then it would decide to find a new host mid game and if you were trying to cap a flag it would allow you to do so while the transfer took place. A bug if you ask me.

Another thing that was happening a lot was the "Lost connection the Activison(?) servers" and getting bumped from games. SoonerChris was kicked out at least 5 times when I was playing in lobbies with him.
