Party vs Lone wolf

This game is just infuriating. When I party up with a group, especially since this latest patch, I struggle. Lag. Lag. Lag. So last night I hop on, set myself offline and play lone wolf for a few hours, here are my results:

Mercenary playlist

TDM 19/8 (W)
KC 18/7 (W)
DOM 26/15 (W)
DOM 31/5 (W)
DOM 32/11 (L)
KC 8/7 (W)

I get IP connectivity, lag etc. but what I don't get is how being in a party makes your game play suffer.

Thoughts?

I play mercrnary and dont have this problem. I will average 1 to 2 losses a night running with the clan were as mercenary I will go 50/50 then again I am in the 5worst at tdm in the clan so that probly does not help

pretty sure when you lone wolf it tends to put you in party's close to your region. when you party up with clannies the odds are that you have people spread out from all over the nation so connections will be more spread out.

I think another thing about being in a party that makes it frustrating is that the connection seems to be different every game...so results are all over the board...

I understand your frustration, Tube. My KD when not in a party, or in a small party of 2-3 people who are close to me, is nearly triple what it is when I play with a full group of people from all over the country.

The only issue is that I like you fuckers. If you were all asshats it would be simple to have a 3.0+ KD.

I feel your pain, when I group up with the clan my connection very laggy. Results for me are have a great game or 2 the everything else is crap. As what the other guys have said as well we are spread all across the states. When any of the wc's are on i try and pair up with them.

Lag lag lag. At least you like us, you really like us. But yes, the lag is insufferable sometimes in a big group. Booo

Honestly though, if you took a poll of what words 30's use in parties the most. Lag is up there at the top, B and fuck are close 2nds.

I hear the pain, but I'm w/ Fireman. More fun running with ya all than without you. The hell w/ my KDR. I am definitely guilty of masturbating, er I mean running solo from time to time though...

I'd rather be a role player on a championship team then be the best player on the worst. That's probably a better analogy then picturing Fireman laughing it up in the middle of a circle jerk lol!

for me when we are a party of 5 or 6 , no matter how bad we are lagging compared to the other team 99.9% we will still win . when I run with randumbs we usually lose because they all think it is teamdeath match instead of domination . atleast in a party everyone is going for the goal win lose or draw..... no dark corner mcdougals

i totally agree with you dark.

Lone wolf puts you in local parties. I don't recommend playing Dom alone because randumbs will make you get shot in the back all the time. Stick to TDM or KC, or FFA. My KD is 2.0 in FFA solely because of the great connections. In Clan games it's only about 1.3, and took a beating last night. Connection is king in this game. If you have it, you crush, if not, you really have to play slower, which I hate doing. It doesn't matter how skilled you are when you're a half second behind. I think Jerry said it best last night that the matches are decided before they begin.

When we roll with 6, I will usually lag when a WCer (ahem, savvy) is host, but we win because of strategy and communication, so a sacrifice of personal stats is worth it for the win to me.

I have come to embrace the T95 with rapid fire and marksman for the inevitable laggy matches. It seems to help you get kills when they are hard to come by and it forces me to slow down.
