Joining groups

Hey i just got mw3 delivered yesterday. I don't have my mic able because amazon hasnt sent me my cord yet, but I would like to jump into some groups with you guys. Problem is...I don't know how lol. Anyone care to show me the xbox ropes today? =)

I sure one of the vets may correct this, but once you ad someone to your friends list you should be able to select one and the join game. I really have figured all that much out but I will send you a fr later today we can play. Not sure how long I will be on though, my kids ball team texas holdem poker tournament is tonight.

Anytime you see folks online feel free to jump into the party and/or send a game invite. Typically if people are already partied up but have some space, they will just respond to your invite with an invite, and you can join up. Also if you join a full party, just say who it is (sometimes it's hard to tell who is talking in party chat), and ask for an invite when space frees up.

It's always more fun to run with a full party, so let's try and keep all the lobbies full!

Thanks chaotic ill send you an invite, its been a little hard to break into this group, i dont really know anyone not like the ps3 group where it was quick to get clanmates on my friends list. I am still having some issue getting used to the controller and all but i dont think I am doing that bad.

I dont normally invite. I know its kind of silly, but I have had enough of leading groups (even if it is just putting us in games) It turns me into a raging asshole according to my wife so I stay away from it. Hope that is not a problem.

I had a lot of fun with Sly though it was nice to play with a group, and i really like the xbox side a lot lately.

I sent you guy an invite. I made some room to see if I can get some new guy on. I usually play between 9PM-12AM central. Hope that is the same time you guy run.

JK don't drop me off your friends list. I do work nights, but I work 3 on 3 off 2 on 2 off. So half the time I am gaming well into the night =) I am on my stretch right now, so I will be on at night starting probably monday or tuesday.

The F/L is my primary JK STEELERS68. I don't usually run on the others unless no one is on.

ok, so I know this is a really stupid question but for the time I have been playing I just do public matches. I tried I think to join a party yesterday, but the dog tripped my power cord and was cut off. Just clarifying this is the proper method as I think I have read on here somewhere to do. I did try to select Join session in party and got into pariah_81s game but was on the other team. Your welcome.

Yes Dizzle, that is what most of us do. Just hop into a party and see who has room. There really isn't any set way though. You could also send out a "got room?" message if you are hesitant about jumping into lobbies with people you don't know. It takes time to build up your friends list so everytime your in a lobby of 30s just remember to send out more friend requests.

Yes Dizzle the only way to ensure you will land on the same team is to join the lobby as a party. Sometimes you get lucky, but if the team is partied up then the easiest way is to join party (NOT GAME) and see if they have room. You might have to play a KC game or something short or wait until their game is over and they can back out and pick you up. I always say hi and say pick me up if you have room and move on to the next lobby if I see they have six when I jump into the party.

Sometimes a person is leaving after the game and they say we will have room after this game and I stick around. I never force a Ground War unless the group insists before I leave.

IMO the whole ground war issue doesn't exist anymore in MW3 because of the lag compensation. Every ground war I have played has been just as bad as a 6 person lobby.
