Clan meet n greet

I was curious who would be interested in like a yearly get together? Considering most of us have family maybe make it kid friendly like camping or something?

We could try and keep it to middle states making it equidistant to most - just a thought.

This has been mentioned a few times and just kind of went by the wind I guess. I think it'd be a cool idea, if it could actually happen, I'd be in.

I think that it would be cool to do, and we have discussed it once or twice. But I know that I'm out for this year. New baby on the way.

I think 2013 would be a good idea and somewhere in the middle of America.

Rif would be our best resource to figure out where everyone could stay.

I do NOT want to make this a family event though, I'd rather it just be the clan members. That is just my opinion.

I don't have time to coordinate an effort like this and they only way this gets off the ground if we have 2 or 3 clan members coordinating the whole thing, again just my opinion.

Leave the wife and kids at home. New Orleans would be my choice for a destination. Love that city. Not many places out there where the bars only close for 2 hours just so they can clean up. Plus they have happy hour everyday from 2-9. 3 for one beers baby!

If I ever win powerball, I am sure as shit gonna make this happen. All expenses paid etc.. would be a fucked up weekend though. Probably only suitable for someplace like Vegas.

Dave, i think the easiest way to get it going would be for someone to set up a place and time. Show up if you can, brag about how much fun you had there to get more to show up the year after.

Perhaps we could do "local" meet and greets that would be easier to show up to and see how that goes.
