| So I mentioned this last night after I rage quit (yes it happens - I can only go 4-30 so many times) and then I came back because I felt bad for leaving the Late Night Crew. I had to cool off, so I went to tend my Zoo. Zoo? Yep, that's right, I said it. Z-O-O. Actually, that would be my Dream Zoo. A Zynga game that I've been playing on my iphone. Pretty mindless, and here is the intro to the IGN review to sum it up: - Quote :
- So Zynga's newest game, Dream Zoo, seems like a good fit in that it is largely about two things: collecting gold coins, and getting animals to bang out.
Wait what was that? Bang it what? - Quote :
- Dream Zoo was first explained to me by coworker Justin in a conversation that went like this:
"So it's called Dream Zoo, and it lets you do crazy stuff like cross breed." "Eew." "Right? But you can take, like, a monkey, and then breed him with an animal that has purple spirals, and get a—" "Wait, what animal has purple spirals?" "It's a DREAM Zoo, moron." There are a couple mini-games to wash and feed your animals, and gold coins and hearts are plentiful via random drops and visiting neighbors (the game gives you a couple to start off with so you aren't totally alone). Ok, so full disclosure - No crossbreeding yet. But the menu item is there and everyone keeps talking about it, but it hasn't show up yet. Still, after 2 days, I'm still amused with the game. I'm up to level 10 (I have no idea how far it goes) and I've got several animals bred up to Champion and, well, I'm looking for neighbors. So hit me up if you want to try this non-laggy, no-missed hit markers serene peaceful animal (maybe oneday) crossbreeding game. My Zoo code is BTWDYOQ. | |

| I refuse to search for anything Brazilian on the interweb. You never know whacha gonna get. And this isn't Farmville. This is a ZOO! Much more interesting than growing and watering crap. I get to mate animals and have them pop out babies. Plus they are all psychedelic colors and stuff. | |

| Facebook games suck. They're simple little games designed to make you spend money. Let me guess, most things cost the little gold coins you find in game, but there's some things (Special things!) that cost facebook tokens? Facebook can eat my ass, I'm not giving them a penny. Besides, there are much better games than those that bug all your facebook friends for help. Anyone here ever play "Gearhead Garage"? It's kind of a bitch getting it to work with a modern OS, but worth it in my opinion. | |

| I haven't had to spend one penny on my zoo. I can get all the stuff I need in game. It may take a little longer, but I don't need stuff right away and prefer to wait than spend the in-game cash to speed stuff up. | |
