    Hello all!

    Been looking for some way to get past all the uncouth youth, yes, but it's really the fact that I'm always getting creamed that's been bugging me. I'm a casual player that used to rock at DOOM II but am (apparently) pretty lame when using the PS3 joystick and anything that requires looking one way and running another!

    I'm hoping that hanging out with this crew will allow me to to avoid 3/17 k/d situations - they make me so very angry and depressed. Wink I was VERY excited a couple weeks ago to manage a personal record breaking 9/8 k/d on Fallen!

    Anyhoo, my PS3 account is "utterlytragic" - I figured let's be clear up front at my capabilities - and I have recently managed to up my k/d from 0.38 to a whopping 0.41 (and scared of losing it).

    Gonna try adding folks the next time I'm on and will request clan invite on Elite now.

    See yaz online...

    PS- no headphone/mic - I assume that isn't a problem.

    Thanks bud! i posted an invite request on Elite for both team II and team III - got a little confused. I'm awaiting memberships in PS3 ELITE Over 30 Clan III, PS3 Modern Warfare 3, and West Coast.

    I've read all the rest of the literature. Very interested to see how this clan stuff works - it's my first ever, even though I've played MW and MW2 online previously.

    Welcome...the more you play the better you will get...playing with a good crew helps...keep at it and it will come around. I joined the group about this time last year with a 0.38 KD in black ops...I worked my way up to 0.89 by the time MW3 arrived....

    Wow, thanks for the warm reception and words of encouragement, guys! Looking forward to meeting up soon (maybe tonight?). I'm going to see if my cell phone bluetooth headset will work out for me - don't use it for anything else and would be good to be able to communicate!

    Welcome! I used my blue tooth when I first joined the clan and it was better than not being able to communicate. Either way you'll have a blast once you settle in. We don't need no purty KDR's in here. More power to those that have them, but play for fun and play for the win.

    Saw a few of you online last night, but not sure if I heard you. Heard some folks, though. It seems sometimes like I only hear some of the people talking in the lobby, etc.

    Also I think, because my bluetooth headset hasn't been used in years, the battery may be dead. Charging again and will try next time I'm online.

    @hoffyguns: yeah first thing I saw in my first game was a [=30=] tag (vavo38) on the opfor - got smacked something like 6 times by him! Wink I did manage to pair my Motorola (cell phone) bluetooth headset with the PS3 but it doesn't seem to show up in MW3. Not sure what or why.

    @sixchase wtf? Your player card on Elite says 0.89 - that puts you about double my capability! Razz
