Today playing CTF I fired off a Predator Missile knowing the enemy team must have been spawning in the back alley, so I start steering the Pred in that direction. And what do I find as I go left a mysterious invisible force pushes the Pred right away from the red square in the alley. I get a lucky kill but my heart sank. For those of you who didn't play MW2 it was ruined by so called MODS(to you and me that's a sugar coated hack), and since MW3 is basically a re-skinned MW2 it's not gonna be hard for these little douchers to get the same Hacks(sorry Mods cough cough) working on MW3.
Below is the full horror of what happened to MW2, if you have a serious medical condition or are easily upset please DO NOT watch this video

I have had that happen a few times ever since the game first came out.

It's happening more often, I suck enough with a pred to have some d-bag glitch me out of a kill. Fucking hackers do ruin games, count me as a "fag" that hates the guy in the video. "Best guy is 1-28, that's pretty sad" yea when you cannot be killed it makes...
Red, all I see is red. Nothing good can come from whatever I write next so I'm done.
Bancandy or some such thing.

It wasn't a glitch , you get steered away from the enemy using the hack, it was prevalent in MW2 now its here. Only a matter of time before the flood gates open.

Xbox or PS3? The MW2 vid showed it on an Xbox.

I couldn't believe it when he said in the video that he didn't want to use the RPG too much because it was cheap...was he fucking serious??? Where is the fun in this? People like this prevent productive improvements from being made to the game.
Not to be paranoid but I can't help but think this may be somewhat prevalent already, seems like some people just know where you are...completely different than it was 2 months ago. But I don't log that much time into the game to really judge it accurately.

The part that really bothers me about this is the fact that it's grown men that are creating these hacks. They obviously have the self-esteem of an ugly 9 year old if they can't even deal with being beaten at a video game. It's sad really. Maybe one day they will eventually venture out of their mom's basement and get hit by a truck.....

I have no words. I actually feel pity for those hackers...so pathetic that they feel the need to cheat to succeed at a video game. These are no doubt the kids who got their asses walloped in high school gym class.

ugh, sickening; this guy is a pussy....I'm glad this crap didn't happen in BOps....or else I'd have been turned off of COD for good. This really makes me want to not buy another IW game again... I've been wondering how long there have been some hacks b/c people just seem to know where I'm about to pop up from behind a wall.... Very sad, I hope the banhammer is working overtime. Might as well enjoy MW3 while we can...

I highly, highly doubt that. I have never seen an aimbot for consoles. If it were true it would be wide spread. It's easy for hackers to get all the files and reverse the game on PC, but on consoles it's a whole different story. Completely different custom OS and the tools needed to inject the cheat would have to be completely custom made. You would need to know the OS inside out to accomplish this.

Unfortunately, this stuff seems to happen on all of the online multi-player games, from what I've seen. Aimbot BF3:
Point Glitcher:
I think that, as long as you stay out of modded lobbies you should be okay.

That aimbot video is on PC not PS3/360. If there were an aimbot for PS3/360 it def wouldn't be available on youtube for download ...lolz Look him up on BL. They reset his stats on PC.

Sometimes I cannot lock onto a chopper. I have almost 4000 stinger kills so don't post how to lock onto aircraft.
It is usually in a lobby I suspect there is a lag switcher, so maybe there is a correlation. I do believe there is some kind of cheating going on. When this happens others in the clan complain too that they cannot lock on also, so that rules out my connection.
Someone mentioned that being prone can prevent you from steering the pred correctly.
I have noticed that being proned often keeps me from bringing my sights up with the Type95, or they will come up and cycle up and down too quick to shoot. If I move forward or backward I can usually find a spot that allows me to bring them up. I discovered this when going for the Marksman Pro.
We played a game last night where some players from another clan were teleporting around so bad you could not shoot them. After the match they taunted us and wanted to know if we were angry with them. When confronted with it they just asked if that made us mad.
They sounded like they were at least in their late 20's. What a bunch of douches.

Cyber twin. I have seen it over and over on mw2, ppl headshotting across map through buildings, constant kill streaks and lobby lock so u can't leave the game. U have to shut down to exit. I've had my ps3 infected with hacks and all challenges titles unlocked. They have the know how, I just hope it doesn't get that bad again.

I agree will killxface, the know how is out there. The question is what will IW do about it?
The answer in the PC world was to have private servers and the admin could ban those caught cheating.
Once your servers are known for zero tolerance of ass-hat-ery the good players migrate over and you then get more policing and better play.
Will this ever happen? I hope so, but not counting on it.

Good point, the fps og's from the cs days may remember having to search for anti_hack full security updated servers to avoid this bs. But in reality IW won't do shit, they have our money we can get to fuck.

I have never seen one that was for the Xbox360. I have tried and tried to find one and it always ends up as a stupid survey that leads no where. Or some kind of virus or maleware that i have to spank. Im not trying to be a cheat at the game. Dont need to be. I am just trying to see whats out there for the console i play on, cause sometimes it really looks like some is cheating when i get gunned down. So i will try to find what they are using and/or report them and the site that they got the hack from to Microsoft. The only thing i have really discovered is the lag switching thing. Thats about all they can do on the xbox side of things thankfully.
When i had a PS3 hacks seemed rampant on most of the online games i played. Not sure if that is a coincidence but since i made the switch i hardly ever, if at all, see it. Im not saying that is what is happening to you guys on PS3, but i am jaded with that machine and that network as my experience with it was very bad.

I am not sure about being unable to steer preds, but I have hit a virtual wall when trying to steer. Inevitably there is a red square on the other side and I can't get any further in that direction, but can steer away from it.
Anybody have their gun barrel forced down to the ground? Laying on A in Hardhat and ADSing up to the middle room waiting for cappers to pour down, and as they make their way out of the entrance my barrel is drawn to the dirt. This has happened twice on Hardhat. It wasn't auto aim to be sure.
Stingers regularly fail to lock on or simply miss.
Laptops firing AC-130 missles.
I get a lucky 180 headshot once in a while, but I am the victim too often for this to be statistical norm.
I'm not sure if there are aimbots for consoles. Does it matter, though? There are most certainly folks that are not simply glitching, i.e. taking advantage of programming loopholes, but have accessed the OS and are actively manipulating it. I don't think lag switching and glitches are the limits of Xbox hacks. And it's only April! I was hoping to continue playing MW3 till the next release. How quickly did MW2 fall apart and become unplayable?

Shitbox is the worst for hacks. On the PS3 there is not as much if not any at all, just mainly glitches. You will find out everything you need to know here -
