300 Kills to get Damage on USAS

This was 90% or more playing KC. It was a pain in the ass, and was getting VERY inconsistent results prior to having range, then damage. Up to 3 shots point blank (I was stomping a Tac Insert when the guy appeared) without getting the kill; other times One Shot Kills at what I thought would be outside it's range to even get a hit marker.

Now with damage, MUCH MUCH better, and performs as expected probably 90% of the time.

The question is, do I want to prestige again and have to rank up the USAS or other shotgun? Currently at 9th lvl 55 or so, and still have the last prestige token to use for an additional class. Been taking me about a week to go through a prestige level.

I got very consistent results with the USAS compared to any other shotgun and for me, range was the amazing proficieny. I can't miss with that thing now! I def felt that damage was essential on the KSG and 1887 though. The 1887 is one tough shotty to tame! I have had a blast golding those shotguns though. It's fun to change up your style and get in close with the shottie/c4 combo

I would say that if you like the prestige emblem you have then don't bother going any more. If you hvae to have something to work towards to keep you interested then it's probably a good idea. I went all the way to p6, lvl 80 and said fark it. Now I just try to gold as many guns as possible. I really enjoy trying to complete all of the attachment challenges and see what combos work for what weapons.

Just tried using the Striker for the first time, and even w/o range or damage it's a beast simply because of the ROF. Can't imagine how good it was pre-patch, and with range/damage. Much more consistent pre-range/damage than the USAS.

I'll probably keep prestiging now, since the striker with just kick or grip is so good. Could care less how the prestige symbol looks, it's getting through the challenges that keep me interested.

i have decided not to prestige past the 2nd on xbox. There simply is no point in it lol

i use the striker if i use the shottie. more shells lol

Don't forget that you can sprint farther with the USAS than with any other gun. Great for my opening run to a B flag in Dom matches.

I got the Range prof with the Stryker and almost done with the Damage prof as well.

Pre-Nerf was a beast and almost unfair. Okay, it was unfair and I complained about it (a lot)


Once I am done and it is gold I will move on to another shotty.

Before entering the 11-15 prestiges I had the SPAS leveled up and it was a good gun. Not til you get it leveled up though.

I have not tried the USAS and maybe I will give it go.
