Can I join your clan bro?

How often do you get these on xbl or psn messages and how do you respond? I usually reply with the website and tell them the requirements, but I'm not going to do that anymore.

I think it will be much more entertaining to tell them yes they can join, and that an invite is coming. Then a few days later when they tell you they still haven't got that invite, you just blame it on crappy elite and tell them you'll make sure another is sent out. Rinse repeat until they give up.

Gotta fill up the last few slots on my FL first, but this will be fun.

I get messages all the time. I usually ask their age first. If they are old enough I tell them to Google Over 30 Clan.

If they are too young, I just tell them that they are not old enough.

We should employ Fight Club rules. If you ask to join it's an automatic no. We will ask you.

If they ask, it's usually a booger eating window licker. I've recruited a few solid citizens this way. Usually just listen to the chat and if a guy is cool and sounds old enough I'll let him know about the clan and msg him the website.

The conversation usually goes like this after the game:

Recruit: "Good game guys...my fucking team is a bunch of camping noobs who never went near a flag."

Me: "Yeah, that's the problem with playing solo with randumbs...U ought to check out our clan...a bunch of old farts who communicate and actually play the objective. I'll send u our website...check it out. Sounds like you'd fit right in."

If we are running less than 6 I'll invite them in for a trial run. I found dlivingston this way too and a few others I can't recall right now. It's better adding to the ranks this way than just adding people who stumble across the site.
