I went to the MW3 midnite release and it was fun, almost won a copy since Bestbuy was running a survival tourney. I think I will book vac time again this year and go with my BO tshirt and RC-XD car(yes I bought the prestige ed. of BO). What say you ?

I sat in rain for 2 hours for MW3. It was an interesting experience, but I will just pick it up the next morning this time. When I got home I had to play it amd stayed up too long. Also nothing on elite worked.

This time I will get it when I get it and read the forums to see ahead if time what the issues are.

Never did a midnight release until MW3 but I will be at the BOII midnight release. Met some good folks last year and will do it again. Oh and yes I will be taking a few vaca days after release, I am a gamer at heart!!!!!!

No way I could explain to the wife why I want to go to midnight release and have her be happy with it, let alone take vacation time off to play for a few days; but I do like boobs. I got lucky and was truly sick last year on release day. I never used any other sick days so I might need to start puking at work a day or two in advance to avoid suspicion.

Went for MW3 only to get home and be unable to get into a game because the matchmaking was totally farked. Then got into a lobby and couldn't hear anyone. Ended up playing campaign until they fixed the initial bugs.

The juice was not worth the squeeze. I'll go 9am the next morning when all the kids are sleeping off their Mountain Dew hangovers.

Did the midnight release for Black Ops but, did not buy anything as I had ordered the Prestige Edition from Amazon. Just wanted to see what it was all about since I was new to the FPS games and PS3. Had the day off and did not get it till almost 6 that night.

Did the midnight release for MW3 at best buy, got the game then so played the rest of the night till morning.

No plans on the midnight release. I always have to work the next day and its just not worth it to me.

I would like to but it's in the middle of my "tax season". I will be playing as often as I can when it comes out but that still wont be much. I stayed up for MW2 with friends in college but once we got the game and got home none of us could connect to a game until almost 2am.

I usually make a night of it. The gamestop that I go to gets everything set up before midnight. You make your final purchase two hours prior, they give you a number, and you are set. You get there at about 5min before midnight, and you are out of there in 10. The process is effective enough that it gives you time to do other things while you wait. Like drinking and looking at boobies. I should have voted for the boobies. They should do the midnight release at a strip club. Either that our have topless dancers at the Gamestop.
