| Link to an article I found...not sure if it's true or not but basically being allocated "points" to spend to set up your class -- for example, I want to carry a primary (2 pts), with 2 attachements (2pts), 1 types of grenades (1 pts), 4 perks (4pts) and only 1 killstreak (1pt)...or something like that from what I understand. http://mp1st.com/2012/06/10/rumor-major-black-ops-ii-multiplayer-changes-will-use-a-point-allocation-system/Can anyone confirm or deny this? There's a few other links in the article to the HUD and max level (which we already know if 55 but supposed to go up by 5 for each prestige). |

| It will be interesting to see how it works. What I don't want is someone equipping a pistol and then choosing 9 perks....I prefer the Specialist way of earning them. I think maximum should be 4 perks or else too many people will be running around like a OMA. |

| I heard this rumour as well. Supposedely some media did play BO2 MP at E3 and broke embargo to say this. U could use a knife (1 slot/pt) and 9 perks. Also no more panic knifing as u would have to equip your knife (no default ) and the knife also is in the lethal slot with nades/claymores,etc. Also a friend or foe indentifier as a attachment for your weapon. Also some perks will compliment each other as well as a rumour that pro perks will have two different options and u can only choose one. If all this is true I think u will see a lot of ppl using only a primary + 2 att (silencer +RF/RDS) = 4 slots + 6 perks. Could be interesting or could be OP, I guess it depends on how it is implemented. |

| I am on the fence about this. It sounds that it would be very good. However on the other hand it sounds that there are going to be many ways that it is going to be exploited. What happens if a tool and a douche bag are running together, one of them loaded fully on perks or kill-streaks and the other a fully loaded gun and the one with the gun suicides next to their buddy, Bam! you got a douche bag with a fully loaded weapon and perk load out and they are nearly unstoppable. I hope that they have something that will counter situations like this one because otherwise the game is going to be ruined. | |

| I can't see many people making this one way or the other. I personally think this is going to be a MUCH needed refreshing step in the right direction. After 4+ years, its nice to see innovation in a game that generally stays the same. | |

IF this is true, it will be the single best thing they've done in years. They owe me money for thinking up that idea...I'm waiting for my check. Now if they remove the TI, use dedicated servers and move Stealth Bomber to Assault KS I'll probably die from an overdose of awesomeness. |

The class system using points in Homefront is pretty good actually although it only applies to perks. 3 tiers of perks (valued 1 through 3 points) and you get X points to spend and every like 20 levels you get an extra perk point so higher the level, more perk points you have. I love the idea of taking it farther into guns and equipment as well. |

| Agreed. Tac inserts have a place especially in objective based games. IMO. I use them on occassion on the larger maps where the spawns are crap. Wait a min......the spawns are crap on every map. Hmmmm |
