What new TV Shows are u gonna watch this fall?

Well guys, in case u didn't know, not only am I a video game junkie but I am also a tv junkie. I used to watch about 30 hours of programing a week. I have cut down in recent years cause I do not stay up as late and some of my favorites have gone off the air (Smallville, Stargate:SG1, Atlantis, Destiny, Lost, etc). I alway look at the new shows that are coming out and find new favorites. I really like drama and sci-fi shows. Here is a list of the new shows that I am planning to add this year:

I am curious what new shows u guys think could be worth a shot and why.

Well my 2 favorites will be starting up. The Walking Dead and American Horror Story. That new one where it's the apocalypse or something looks pretty cool, can't remember the name.

I'll be catching

Animal Practice (it's a comedy about a veterinary hospital)
Guys With Kids (some 30something dads with new kids trying to hold onto their youth)
Last Resort (drama about a submarine ordered to fire nuclear weapons on Pakistan)....maybe

I already watch

Survivor
Big Bang Theory
Grey's Anatomy (with the wife)

Revolution is the one I couldn't think of.

I am looking forward to the next Season of Game of Thrones and Alcatraz. I also hope Terra Nova comes back. Just started watching Continuum because I like sci-fi and have had a crush on Rachel Nichols for as long as I can remember. it is only average so far but I am easily tolerating it.

I tried Person of Interest, not bad but I don't really enjoy episodic shows any more.

As far as new shows go, I will wait to hear what is good before I invest any time in something that might get trashed a month into the season.

Dude, I hate to tell u but Alcatraz and Terra Nova both got canned. I liked Alcatraz too and was bumed when the cancelled it. What is Continuum? Never heard of it. I like Rachel Nichols also.

I saw a preview of that. Might give it a shot. I hate when I really like a shot and it gets canned when I and good and into in. Ie, Daybreak, Dark Angel (At least it lasted 2 year), Jericho (same with that one), Flashforward. I really have a feeling this one will get canned quickly. But I might give it a chance.

I missed out on the start of this show. I think I was in the process of moving when it started. Wanted to watch it but just never went back and picked it up. I probably we will day. Hell I didn't watch a single episode of Lost til the summer b4 the last season. Wound up buying the whole series on DVD just to get caugh up after I went back and watched the pilot. Same with The Walking Dead. Watched the first season last January at the fire station on Netflix when I was bored and I was hooked. Bought season 2 on iTunes so I could watch it cause the wife hates horror so I couldn't watch it at home. I also picked up Spartacus on netflix halfway through the first season. I think it and The Walking Dead are two of the best shows on tv.

I don't really watch a lot of tv but I will be watching SOA and The Walking Dead. Maybe a episode or two of Gilmore girls and sex in the city.

I watch way too much tv, but I do PVR everything so it really cuts down on the actual viewing time.

Like mwhop, I've had a lot of past favourites end over the last several years(Lost, 24, Smallville, Chuck,Sopranos, Battlestar Galactica)

I have to say I'm very gun-shy about getting attached to new series as I have the ability to pick shows that I like and then subsequently see them crash and burn. It doesn't help that I also like sci-fi shows:

Anyhoo, for this year, I'll be checking out the following...so be warned to not get too attached!:
Animal Practice - Starring the bro-in-law from Weeds who I've always found really funny
Arrow - Comic book tv show...sign me up.
Chicago Fire - Seems like it might be worth a watch
The Following - Kevin Bacon...yes please!
Last Resort
Revolution - Really excited for this one which almost certainly means it'll be cancelled.

Okay, I bit....I'll add Revolution to the list. The review kinda sounded a little like Jericho minus electricity. Maybe there will be some tips for living off the grid someday if it should ever become necessary...

It must be nice to have time to watch several shows, play tons of COD and still have a healthy relationship with the Mrs!

That is bad news. Terra Nova wasn't that good but I liked it, but I really thought Alcatraz was gonna make it.

@Cerebus - I thought V was just a re-do of the old series which only lasted a couple seasons. I wasn't expecting anything beyond what we got.

Well it was a reboot of the old series, but the current one ended on one heck of a cliff hanger which definitely wasn't supposed to be how it ended. Would be nice to even have a mini-series or tv movie just to finish it off.

Oh, Its a Candian TV Show, Well that sucks. I watched Flashpoint most of the way through. Watched the first 2 seasons b4 my wife realized it was based on a Candian Police SWAT Team. She thought it was in LA.

I've seen a couple episodes of Flashpoint...coolest thing about it is that the girl on the show was the original Pink Power Ranger!

I watch Falling Skies too but I considered that a summer show. Got a whole list of those too. Gonna miss Eureka by the way. Awesome show.

Eureka! A guilty pleasure. Still haven't seen the last season, I don't wanna cry. Seeing Felicia Day and Wil Wheaton (also watched the Guild) again will be fun.

I don't watch a lot of TV but Dexter is always set on my DVR

I watch the sons of anarchy. I hated it at first, and still dislike parts of it. But it is a good story.
i also like Dexter, Psych, The walking dead. and years back there was a show called The black Donelleys. it was an epic story, left off season one on a huge cliffhanger. And then NBC canned it, because it was evidently too violent for public broadcast. I have been reading here and there, that there is a company interested in it. If you have never seen this show, be sure to check it out on netflix. Even if you can only watch the 1 season, you will be sucked into a black hole of tv time after watching just one episode.

I used to watch a lot more TV. Each fall I would have a matrix of all the shows I wanted to watch to ensure that I recorded everything. The last year, tho, nada. Pretty much everything fell off the radar. The only shows we watch now are Suits and White Collar. I highly recommend both.

Everything else on the DVR is for the kids: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Super Why, Doc McStuffins.
