Black Ops 2 Q&A

I will answer any of your questions you may have regarding Black Ops 2. The only thing I can not answer is multiplayer questions as you can not even get to the xbox live menu as the servers are not up yet.

I am loving the pick 10 system. It is exactly what it says you can pick any 10 items there are no restrictions. I was playing the bots last night in CTF and had a knife and 6 perks. Which you can only have 6 perks because 6 perks + 3 greed for perks and 1 combat knife = 10 items. The knife is like Blops 1 and shoots projectiles. Although you could probably use the same set up with a combat axe whcih would be fun also. (SlyPeeler)

I havent played much zombies but I will play some today and try and update this with info I find on it.

The campaign is very similar to specs ops missions in MW3 as you get points for completion and other tasks hidden within the campaign, There will be a leaderboard for this also once servers are live. I am not very far into it I have done the first 4 missions so far.

The bots I have been playing are through the local setting. You can play all game modes through that menu. Although S&D you can not choose bots for some reason. I have played all other game modes 2v9 and it is just like combat training. Although on local you can not rank up. I am hoping in the multiplayer menu you have the option for CT with ranking. The bots are smarter than Blops 1 on recruit. I have noticed killstreaks do not stack like blops 1. The score streaks are not like support as many specualated. You have to get the score in a streak without dying in order to obtain whatever you have selected.

I will update this more as I think of things to add.

When you say the bots are smarter, what does that mean? In BLOPS it seemed that the only difference in the bots from recruit to veteran is that they were a little faster and their dead aim was quicker (track you through walls, quicker on the trigger and more headshots).

Would love to hear your thoughts on how the guns feel and comparisons to the guns in BLOPS and MW3

On Blops 1 I could take a sniper points and just pick them off without them knowing where I was in this one thier AI is better and they actively seek you out and the reaction time is a little faster. The bots awareness is better. In Blops 1 I could run by a bot and them not even react to me and they just keep on running. Dont get me wrong you can still play 1v9 or 2v9 on recruit and have fun with it but the bots are just a tad bit better now. Although when you play with bits on your team like playing domination it is like running with randoms lol. Your team mate bits seem dumber than a rock.

The new mode Hardpoint really isnt new at all it is basically headquarters without the box thingy you just have a point to hold or you could consider it like drop zone with no care packages and the points go to 250 if I remember correctly.

In blops couldn't you play coop in the training mode? And do you think you can do the same? Or could we get a party to level up to 10 against bots?

That was totally a mp question, but what's your opinion?

Yes you can play with up to 4 people in co op against bots locally. So I am assuming in the live menu you can do the same. I will update for sure once I can get to the menu. All I get right now is a can not connect pop up.
I am sure the leveling up is totally separate from multiplayer to combat training. I have been in system link and it allows up to 18 players so I wonder if combat training will also. As far as offline you can have 4 people and 9 bots.

No you can choose one scorestreak for all classes.

I assume you have access to all the guns in combat training. Is there an OP gun like the Famas was or an OP secondary like Akimbo FMGs? Im sure you havnt tried them all yet but so far what are the beasts?

It is really hard to say. All the guns seem great but I am playing locally so hit detection is perfect. Really to answer that I would have to play with the guns online.

Do you know how close the Adjustable stock perk is to the Stalker perk in MW3? I have gotten used to that and find it almost impossible to play without Stalker. It just grinds the action to a halt without it.

Havent tried it yet but if you come into the livestream I can make a class how ever you like and load it up and you can see it live. I would say though it is probably the same or close as most the other stuff is.

scott when i watched your stream for a little bit yesterday it seemed like the recoil was very minimal with the weapons you were using - how are some of the other weapons?

Got to catch it for a couple mins before I went for my run looks really good and fluid, but like you say will see how it is with 1 mil people online those 1st couple days
