League play

I ran some test league play matches and was placed in platinum div in solo league. Has anyone else placed yet. I think test league resets stats today, so check it out now b efore things reset.

Anyone else up for some coordinated group league play once or twice a week for a couple of hours?

I was thinking about trying it.

I think its a very interesting spin on multi, Ied like to play also has anyone tryed the multi team modes?

Yeah I saw there was only a day left then starts up again on Dec. 1st. I'm down for some ladders!

Try it out and hit back this thread with thoughts. I was really impressed with the level of player in solo. People were speaking up, timing scorestreaks, and working together (at least once I was placed).

The only thing that sucked was I had a few occasions where the team started to lose, and then a couple players left. Players do not seem to backfill either....I left one game where it was 6 v 2 since it was pretty clear we were going to lose anyway.

PS - wins seem to dominate the league ranking, followed up by SPM

I did see that, since its sorta like GB rules, once a player leaves, they can not be replaced.

I have 4 of my 5 qualifying games played, but didn't do my 5th b/c on 3 of the 4 i did play, more than half my team left the match early on and i was in a 6 v 2.

But, if we get a team going for the league ladders, I'd be interested.

Haven't gotten to run with any of you yet, but hoping to do so soon.

Myself & Gun fer Hire (another newbie) are both interested in playing league play with a team. I'd even be down for running through a few dry-runs on maps to work on call-outs ect.

Any of you boys who have a competitive side and who want to communicate in-game have any interest in trying to get an actual 'team' together?

Money... if you and Rot are down... Death and I make 4. How many do we need minimum? I haven't even set foot in the League lobby yet. Does it lock you into a set number of pre-picked players? i.e. i'm not available can anyone play in my place?

In the moshpit series you can play with up to 6. Everyone is ranked as a solo. In the champions series you have to have 4. They also limit equipment, streaks, gametype, maps, etc. in the champions series.

Thanks for the link... Sounds fun! I couldnt find any info on the moshpit series though. I'm guessing that's the more lenient one. Well i'm down for 4 and 6 man teams... who's in? Want to send some invites out?

Like I said before, I'm not Sandy Ravage...but it sounds like that doesn't matter if they're truly creating matches based on skill level.

I understood it to say the only way you can play an actual set team is to lock in that team of 4 in the Champions league. Sounds like the moshpit series is just competing at individuals. I'm unclear if you can compete as a party/team in the moshpit series.

I like playing League Play as well. If there are any other PS3 guys or gals that want to play it together let me know. Right now I am in the Platinum Division, but I've lost a couple of matches in a row so I'll probably be bumped back down to Gold.

People start to lose they leave then your left with a 2 on 6 or a 1 on 6 and you get a lose no mater how you play !
