I guess I'm lucky that I made the SMGs gold first; I'm working on ARs now and so this should help me.
I never thought that the SMGs were that overwhelmingly powerful and I noticed a hit on the range with a silencer on already. At a medium distance the ARs already won in gun fights, now they will rule. And I wonder how this will affect the new gun as it's billed as a smg/ar hi-bred, will it function like the SMGs with a silencer or the ARs?

The KSG is a pretty good one too once you get a handle on how to use it. Put an Extended Barrel and laser on it and it has pretty good range and one shot kills. I've noticed that you have to aim just to the left of the laser if you're hip firing, but it can be a beast.
And I believe that the M1216 got a boost to damage as well.

It's not that bad. However did anyone else besides HeRFireCat and I have any issues with the Lighting Strike? We would pull out the laptop and not be able to actually see the map to place the bomb markers.

The other night before the patch I went on a blood thirsty and had a couple caps, but I noticed that I hadn't hit my VSAT or EMP. When I looked at my scorestreak I noticed that my meter wasn't going up. I got a couple more kills and it didn't move either. Then I got killed and it tells me I have a VSAT and EMP. Great Deathstreak I guess. lol

Will be nice to have a new gun to play with, my money says it will be op'd as hell then nerfed to oblivion and unusable within a month. Really nice of them to side step the connection issues....

Why would they bother with tweaking the network issues? The MW4 teaser trailer will be out in a month or two and people will start to focus on that

MW3 almost did that for me but this game has been much better. In MW3 a face to face gun to gun battle was lose some, lose some, almost break even, lose some more; with BlOps 2 it's been lose some, win some, break even on most. It sounds as if my experience is outside of the norm or that those who find it a playable game are keeping quiet.
I think too that the advantage going to the person breaking cover over a more stationary player has helped me a lot as I tend to run and gun; or at least walk briskly and gun.

I hopped on one night last week to play and was greeted by this same behaviour... Scoring points all over, scorestreak meter meter locked at zero... More BS....
Might be on tonight, gotta check out this Peacekeeper (or whatever it's called) and if any sanity has returned... I do hope they've fixed the above 'broken scorestreaks', though...

If anyone's been using the Swat-556...sounds like the patch did a number on it. Apparently there was a glitch in the patch that gave it zero to near zero damage when using select fire. This actually explains a couple of games I had using it, before I dropped it. Check out the full story by Drift0r:

I'm just gonna put myself out there and say it; the best thing that could happen (which it definitely won't) is for Treyarch and Infinity Ward to get together. Then Treyarch's design teams could work with Infinity Ward's developers give us a Treyarch design that has the stability of an Infinity Ward title...

Finally maxed out the CQB and was looking forwards to getting a decent gun in the Skorpion only to find that they have nerfed the SMG class and my present gun is unless at mid range, tried mixing up the attachment's and have stuck with long barrel and grip which does nothing to impres, heck I rage so much with this present gun it's silly, thank you Treyarch.
And what is with the spawns, I kill a guy, he spawns behind me, I die, every frigin time.
