Prestige past #11?

Im sure others probably have already noticed this and I appologize if this is a repost but while searching around on Elite I noticed this. Behind your current prestige level is the next levels icon. Like on mine, I am prestige 8 and it shows the 9 icon behind it. Looking at a prestige 11s page, there is an icon behind the master prestige icon??

I saw an Ali-A vid on this - he noticed that as well. I think that's the old BO1 Prestige 5 emblem...maybe?

His guess was that they may release additional prestiges during one of the DLC drops. He said someone had found that image in the files that accompany BO2 core files and has labels of Prestige 12, etc.

Who knows man - I think they put half this sort of shit in to keep ppl guessing...

I know I'm sticking on Prestige 8 - I like the emblem and I don't think I can bring myself to push the button 2 more times on this game...

If they do I swear, I'll be so pissed. I have not made it to the top of any prestige level in any Call of Duty game. MW2 I think Im 3rd or 4th prestige. Black Ops I stopped at 14th because I too liked the emblem and I didnt want to lose all my gold guns. WM3 I stopped at 15 because I didnt want to do all the pro perks again. This is/was going to be the first game I got to the max level.

I doubt they will slam - there's realy no point in it. They already provide the opportunity to reset your stats and start over again - would adding in a few more prestiges be appealing to very many ppl?

And if you did prestige past Prestige Master - would everything lock back up again?

It just doesn't make any sense.

I think they were just being lazy and didn't clear out the old files when they started on BO2, or they put it in there just to troll those that try to get under the hood to 'expose' things.

I have also reached prestige master. And if they open new prestiges I'm not hitting the button again, I have everything open and hat is what I was looking for....

Personally, I don't think it's that big of a deal. The key is that they separated Weapon prestige from Level prestige. So I don't lose my camo's for the guns by prestiging. All I have to do is level up to the right level to get my stuff back.

I've got a bunch of guns perma-unlocked anyways so I can use them at Level 4 and they are max prestiged so I have all the attachments too. By the time I get to 10, I should have plenty of perma-unlock tokens to use too, so I can set-up any class that I really need to.

Ya I'll do it because why not I don't loose anything. It would be nice if they gave us more reason to hit that prestige 11 button. Like all the hacked accounts have to stay at ten but the true gamers can move on. So it will separate us from the hacks
