PS3 - Quick Messages

Subject: PS3 - Quick Messages Tue Mar 05, 2013 12:58 pm

Is there a way to save frequently used messages on PS3? Typing a message with the controller is as many of you know painful. There are times when a fellow 30 friend invites me to join his party and I want to throw him a quick message like:

"Playing with a friend, will join up with you next time."

But it would take me forever to type that message with the controller. Thanks in advance for the help!

I know it saves frequently used words on the right side of the text box .its a little quicker

I feel your pain.....I tried plugging a keyboard into the PS3. Works good. My wife makes fun of me though.

WREG, you are lucky. My wife makes fun of me all the time. lol

Red, as far as I know, no short cuts for typing. Maybe we should come up with some standard abbreviations.

abbreviations seem like a good idea, but everyone would need to know them to understand them.

actually, come to think of it, i have a bluetooth keyboard for our iPad. I wonder if I can sync that to the PS3 via bluetooth. i'll let you know if it works...
