MW3 Poor Gameplay Due to Connection

Change to match making where region searched is determined by party host.

So if you are hosting the party when searching for a game I assume it is looking for people in your region. I guess really we need to do more switching party leaders to find what is going to give us the best results. I hosted all night tonight and did notice we were playing a lot of people from Florida. I couldnt even get hitmarkers half the time because the detection was so poor. It is really frustrating I mean most of us were going negative match after match. We were winning though. Anyon else experiencing this since the latest update.

Thoughts or Ideas???

I know I will be doing more party leader switching when things start going bad thats for sure. I think we should be able to find some decent connections more often by doing so.

I'm in the UK and was playing the x30x server, which is stateside and it felt perfect.

Oh yeah I was playing BF3 though.

The last 2 days have been the worst 2 days I have had since MW3 came out. Insta killed, rubber banded all over the map, and putting a burst in someones face and not even a hit marker. Yes Scott we were winning those games, but it should of been much easier than it was. It felt like the one team had a huge advantage in every game and we were not that team except in maybe one game. I agree that we need to try to switch hosts and hopefully get a decent connection. I will be glad when I am playing a Treyarch game again. At least it's only the host with the huge advantage.

I was blown away how well I did last night considering my blood alcohol level. For the most part though hit detection has always been an issue of mine. Typically the lag comp helps me since I'm stuck with shit latency. However I'd say the hit detection is slightly worse and matchmaking is MUCH faster.

Constantly I'll be behind cover (like running around a corner) to be pulled back and shot dead in the kill cam. Last night had my friend 12lb hosting the party - he's out of MI with comcast business class and when he left and JK took over I didn't notice any difference fwiw.
