OverviewMy intention with this thread is one to get the word out. I'm really surprised some of our veteran people still don't know about the podcast. Secondly, better organize the episodes so they're easier to find and stay up to date. I'm going to lock this thread in order to keep it clean if you'd like to discuss any of the shows feel free to look for an existing thread or start a new one in the
General Discussion Area.
The Clan has a podcast?Yes we do.
What’s it called?The podcast is called “30 in 60”.
How long is the show? As the name implies its 60 minutes (or longer).
Who’s on it?It’s typically hosted by
myself and
Sr Slampiece but we’ll gladly include any clan member who wants to participate. Past guests have been:
Naven and
NukeLaCoogWhat’s it about? We give bullet point type updates regarding the clan, what’s new, who’s new, announcements etc. It’s a great way for those of you who “aren’t forum people” to stay updated with clan happenings. We also talk about the latest titles we’re playing (gripes, likes, etc.) as well as new upcoming releases, beta tests we’ve participated in, and sometimes we even review games and hardware. We end the show with a segment called “Cool Story Bro” which is where someone shares funny happenings in their life.
When do new episodes come out?We try to create one show a month. Although this doesn’t sound like a lot it’s been extremely difficult to sync schedules with hosts and guests.
Can I be a guest / co-host?If you’re a clan member you sure can! PM Slam or myself. You will need to install Skype in order to participate (it’s free don’t worry). Obviously anything said during this Skype call is recorded (disclaimer).
What if I’m not thrilled to be on the show but have an idea or suggestion for the next show?Easy, PM slam or myself with your suggestions or ideas. If you want credit we’ll be glad to mention you.
