Broke my Wireless headset 1 week after the warranty expired

So I bought the Sony PS3 wireless headset right after Christmas and it was great, the sound, the look, it even worked on my PC.
Last week I bumped the USB dongle that goes into the PS3 and and it stopped working. At first I thought well I'll probably have to send it off to Sony and they'll probably send me a refurbished USB dongle.
But not only is the warranty expired but Sony says they don't repair or even sell replacement USB dongles for their headsets!
So what do they suggest? Just buy another $100.00 headset!!
Now while it's true that it broke because I'm a dumbass, I'm still pissed that you cant buy another USB Dongle to replace a broken one. I mean WTF ?!

check on ebay for a dongle....
