Next Xbox - Predictions for Reveal

M$ is holding it's Xbox reveal today at 1pm eastern. They're expected to show the hardware and go into depth about the new software and features.

They said they'll be saving most of the new exclusives and game reveals for E3... but we do know they'll be showing CoD Ghosts for the first time.

I wonder if they'll show Respawn's new title or keep that for E3? Id have to guess E3 to keep the spotlight on Ghosts for today.

As for the name... what do you guys think? 720... Infinity... Loop... Fusion... or just Xbox.

I want to take a late lunch today so I can watch it but Im afraid it's going to take too long and they'll save Ghost till the very end.

Yeah i'm taking lunch late so I can watch. And i voted for just "xbox". I think it's going to be that or Xbox infinity as some of the leaks suggest.

As for Ghosts... i really hope they show off some first person multiplayer gameplay! I know it will be mostly single player and 3rd person stuff i'm assuming... marketing material... but it would be cool if they showed it all.

I heard it's on Spike too so maybe I can just set my DVR to record it.

Are they streaming it on the interwebz?

OK it is definitely on Spike from 1-2pm EST. I was able to record it via the interweb but I may still be able to watch it at lunch.

My prediction is that M$ takes a page from the porn industry and Xbox 720 Live becomes a pay-per-minute process. No more monthly or yearly subscriptions, they will hit you up for every minute you use their service. The Xbox 360 is starting to function like the Corner Street Hooker with all of it's pay transactions, so the 720 will be an upgrade to the high class escort.

if thats the case i am going to be homeless....my son just turns on the xbox and buys random stuff on xbl already!

More rumors are surfacing this morning about EA signing an exclusive deal to develop for ONLY Xbox!!!!

This sounds insane... but M$ supposedly paid some crazy $$$ to EA for some something this generation. Others rumor that it's just a exclusivity for all EA Sports games... Even if that's true... that's huge!

I think will be called xbox 720 / Infinity or Infinity XBox 720. Either way I think both 720 and infinity are both going to be in the name.

gun do you really think a money whore like EA (nothing wrong with it) is going to develop/publish games for 1 single platform and effectively eliminate 1/2 their sales? I guess it is possible but I would be very doubtful

I don't think so... but something is up with EA and M$ this generation... we'll see soon enough.

I really hope they gives us some useful information instead of a teaser / preview of what is to come at E3 in June.

I think this is a full console reveal with a touch on games... whith E3 being all about the next gen games.

I'm on the PS3 side...but am curious. With the PS4 coming out as well this may be the time to switch for me.
