BO2 League play on dedicated servers?

I played a few preseason matches tonight, and thought they really were playing smoothly and didn't really have any BS moments. At first I didn't think much of it, but since it was preseason there were people quitting left and right, but you know what....NO HOST MIGRATION? I didn't really think about it until I quit and went to bed. There is no way that one of us pulled host EVERY time.

So I did a quick(very quick) google search and its hard to find any concrete evidence of it, but some speculation. Can anybody confirm or deny this? Having played little to no league play I don't remember if I've been in a game with host migration.

If this is the case some of you who want to see what BO2 on dedicated servers might feel like might want to try it out. You might still get beat, but that will likely be because the other person just outgunned you.

Dammit..this is going to bug me all night. I can't believe this apparently hasn't been discussed on this forum...I did a search of "league" on here and it doesn't seem to have been brought up...unless I missed something.

I'm about 95% sure that league play is using dedicated servers now. Played all evening and never had one host migration and people are quiting quit all the time. And for the most part its playing extremely well(compared to public matches). My connection to these games is about as good as it gets for me on the best day in public matches, and its game after game. Once in a while there is a small hiccup, but nothing like public matches.

With a limited pool of players at around 2000-4000 players worldwide playing league there is no way they could have this good of matchmaking without dedicated servers.

But there are some really good players, so its still a challenge. But I don't think I had hardly any BS moments all night, for the most part it felt like a fair fight. I did get destroyed in a few games, but that was mostly because I was being outgunned by superior players.

I wouldn't be surprised - I've heard some of the pro players talk about the 'league servers' - so that might be exactly what they're doing.

I'm almost always on 4 bars in league. However, I did get a nice red-bar game last night that was pretty damn annoying. But that was 1 game out of many.
