PS4... The Positives

I think it's interesting the XB1 needs a positives thread.  But in fairness, I think we should have a PS4 positives thread too. lol

One positive is that the PS4 can stand vertically!

It's also attractively priced at $399.  If I decide NOT to get PS+, I can still use my Netflix and other apps.  But I will be getting PS+ and I get free games, one a month, at launch.  One button share function of my games, play while downloading games.

Hmm.... a positive about the PS4.... let me think.... How about the fact that it's not an Xbox One?

Now, Jager, if you have seen the other threads then you know that this somehow hurts other people's feelings. I like the fact that they added a little more space between the analog sticks on the controller and the focus on graphic output should equate to some beautiful games.

-Playstation 4 is over 50% more powerful than the Xbox One. 

-Controller has 6-axis motion sensing, Move tracking, built in speaker and the innovative touchpad.  It will allow developers some really creative options for game interaction and immersion.
 
-Playstation Plus will continue with the extensive discounts, game bundles and perks.
 
-Playstaion 4 has seen droves of indie developers flock to it as Sony allows self-publishing and is pushing for Indie development.  This means more, creative and unique indie games for us!
 
-Sony spent $380million for Gaikai and is prepping a major cloud gaming network to allow PS4 users access to the entire (not at launch) PS3 library as well as instant, 1hr long, free game demos of any and every new game to arrive.

Seriously though, I like the share button, the little touch pad and I like what I have heard about the changes in the triggers.  I want to hear details on all that as well as if/how they are going to use "party chat" features.

The game is called 'The Order 1866' and, based on the fact that they announced it after mentioning the Sony Marvel connection, I thought that it was comic book related but I don't know.

The Order 1866 does look kind of cool, interesting mix of old and modern tech. Will need to wait to see what the game is all about.

It actually is a reimagining of london at that time with a twist of for lack of a better term zombie like monsters? not sure.  it looked interesting concept and a nice twist of old and new together.  Also the destiny exclusives have me wondering how i can get both by mid year next year lol

My most looked forward to game of this year has been getting a copy of The Last of Us.  I have high expectations and anticipation.

^^^Yeah all i keep hearing from the game editors is excitement over 1866.  Supposedly the studio who has been developing it for year is some huge stellar studio (that i'm obviously not familiar with lol) and all they've had to say is good about the premise etc.  I, like some of you, have NO idea what the actual premise is... but damn does it look cool and "fresh".  Reminds me a tiiiiiiiiiny bit of Time Splitters... but less cartoony.  Fuck, i miss me some Time Splitters!!!

Oh hell yes! I'm so bummed i sold my PS3 when the Wii U came out a few months back... after Uncharted 3 i was guessing Naughty's next project would be next gen... i was wrong and i'm f'n bummed ill have to wait to play it! Naughty Dog is like Bungie... they just make solid f'n games!

im working on getting my ps3 back up,  just have to stick it in a pc box now to play...

Yeah, I just finished The Last of Us and it was great! Just like any good thing, I wish that it played a little longer, but it was fantastic. The only issue that I had was at the end
