| In my world, there are such things as stupid questions, and here is one that I've been curious about.
I'm not planning on buying a PS4 until April/May 2014, but I will be getting Ghosts on a PS3. Will I be able to play with people playing on a PS4 even if I'm playing on a PS3?
I would think NO, but I just don't know for sure. | |

| Unfortunately no. Neither next gen system will be (from all i've heard so far) allowing any past generation online play. The base architecture of the next gens are also different now being x86. | |

| I did see something about BF4 looking into allowing people to port their from current to nextgen systems. Maybe this will happen with Ghosts too? One can hope... | |

| I wondered the same thing, If we could get a actual release date on the next gen systems that give me a better idea lol right now i have it on pre order for ps4 but i dont wannamiss the midnight release fun | |

| Repo, actually if they allowed people to port their stats, that would give them a reason to buy both games. If you get it on launch day the beginning of Nov on the PS3, then once PS4 comes out (probably late Nov/early Dec), you get the PS4 version and port your stats over. If not, most people I think would stick with whichever version they got first. Same on the XB360/XB1. | |
