Mixer idea

I wanted to find out if anyone would be interested in having a sort of "mixer" for established and new members of the clan. I can only speak for myself, but I have been around for about two months now, and while I have gotten a couple of new friends on my friends list, I have yet to play in any games with anyone from the clan yet. It would be pretty awesome to get some gaming in with people, so if it sounds like fun, please feel free to let me know, or pass the word along. It is a great way to make acquaintances with new people, and maybe even put some killer teams together to wreck people's faces.

Just wondering if you were ever apart of OTC. I was part of that clan for a while, but they are not new people friendly at all. all the vets only played with the main people.

For me this forum is the perfect 'mixer' to get to know the clan and the different personalities.

Don't be shy about sending out random Friend Requests and jump in parties/lobbies. If parties are full guys will circle back and pick you up when there's room. Best way to network is just send out FRs and jump around!

ZJ, Follow TAAndy's advice about sending out FR.  Just go through the forum and send a FR to anybody who plays on xbox that has posted in the past month or so, or even the past week to get you started.  Some already have 100 on their lists so you won't be able to send them one, but others(like me) have room.  Put over 30 clan in your "motto" so when they see the request and bring up your player card they'll see that you are a 30 member and will probably accept it.  Its time consuming to go through and manually type in all those GTs.  Or you can bring up some of those 30's you do have, and go through their friends list and send some out that way, just make sure that those on their list are 30's, some have friends that aren't.

I don't know what time of day you play, but most evenings there at least a party or two playing, and the easiest way to join is to go to their gamertag and "join party"  If they don't have six they'll pick you up, or maybe go to ground war to get you in.

Truth be told, most current members aren't going to go out of their way to send new(probationary) members FR, because a lot of people sign up for clan and forum and are never heard from again.  We want to make sure you are serious about it and one way to show that is to show up in the game lobbies to play or post often on the forum.

All good advice. Fr me and I I will invite u next time I am on. I usually play with the regulars so just jump in and most likely those guys are the ones to send out friend requests and they will try to get u into a game next time u r on.

It's really a case of this... mostly. And a lot of our Friends Lists are constantly full so we have to manage who we play with and talk to the most etc... a lot of us play with just about everyone on our lists... i know i do... or dont want to delete you COD fuckers who are still on there b/c i'd miss you too damn much  

F/R me I am on most evenings and have recently cleared a couple of spots on my list. We used to have FNG on Friday nights where we would get big groups and play party games for this very reason but I think since it is so late in this CoDs life cycle not near as many people are playing. The first 6 months of the game there is around 20 to 230 people on my Fl on just about every night, now Im lucky have 15 and some nights as few as 10.

a good way to add friends is to log into your xbox live on the computer and open up two tabs with this forum as one and xbox.com as the other
