Titanfall is set to release in April I believe.

^^^That's probably good timing for them as a portion of the COD guys will no doubt be looking for a Ghosts alternative as is usually the cycle.

What do you guys think of Halo 5 in 2014?

I'm thinking holiday 2014 or if not... sometime 2015. There doesn't seem to be any info on it... and frankly... idk how much i care now that Bungie is out. Every game since Halo 2 has gone down hill a little. I miss Halo 2's perfect multiplayer (jmo).

Just the spec ops makes it #1. Cortana's ass was perfected in Halo 4. Glitter tits too.

I think Halo is going to be released next fall around October I'd suspect. Should be great and you know they'll be usind dedicated servers for it as well.

Halo is always a must buy and it is always one of the top games released in the years it does release.

They mentioned Fall of 14 for the next Halo. For me Reach was the best single player since Halo 1...maybe ever the best period. Halo 4 was the best multi-player since Halo 1.

I'm talking the all around experience.

Halo 4 had more of everything.

Maybe a particular Halo had a better campaign and another had a better online multiplayer but none had Spartan Ops which was like getting a free second campaign to co-op with friends.

I thought the multiplayer in Halo 4 was better than Reach/Halo 3. I didn't play the earlier ones. Maybe Halo 2 was better but even so, Halo 4 was better than just about every other FPS released the same year it released.

We should compare it to it's competition. Was it as good as MW3 or BF3 imo? Yes, every bit as good a FPS. Better for co-op. Equal in multiplayer (they all have bullshit). Better in the campaign.

Halo 5? Yeah, gotta get it at release.

Oh man... Halo CE and Halo 2 above all other Halo's by a LONG shot! haha Esp multiplayer...  Halo 2 was by far the BEST!  

Halo 2 is and will always be the first big competitive, console multiplayer experience... it was so refined and wasn't cluttered with perks, and armor abilities and bull shit... you found weapons on the ground and maybe an overshield in the middle of the map... the rest was smart grenade use and aim control to defeat your opponents.  MUCH more skill involved than other Halo variants or modern COD/BF shooters.

But i respect all your (wrong) opinions guys  All just my opinion.

Well, CoD4 is considered the best multiplayer by many old school guys (best of the CoD franchise) and Halo 2 was just as good if not better to most people at the time as CoD4.

Reminds me of today. Halo 4 was as good or better than COD 9. The more things change, the more they stay the same I guess.

My point really was that Halo has become a top tier game where you can expect a quality AAA product. I think Halo 4 was great. Everything I played on it was fun and good compared to other games out right now. I notice that Nuke has still been playing Halo when he has any number of games to choose from.

Halo 1 might have been the peak for Halo as far as the series but Halo the franchise is still at top 5 franchise imo and a must buy for anybody who loves FPS online play. So much value and fun to be had in the Halo series.

IMO the only truly comparable series to Halo at current is CoD. CoD is #1 and Halo/BF are the next in line. Halo is awesome and Halo 4 rocked. May play some tonight.
