Beyond gaming

I thought Criptic Wolf might have been on to something when he shared a little about what he enjoys doing outside of gaming, so I thought I'd also share something that I do in my free time.

This is my current project that is keeping me busy most of the time.  I need to build and fix things, and love taking something old and junky, make it run again.

Yea, its out of an '87 Grand Wagoneer.  I didn't put that in it, the previous owner did.  They ended up snapping off the rear output shaft on the transfer case, so I got it pretty cheap.  I ended up getting a used shaft to replace it from a Ford Bronco restorer's old parts pile close to me for about $20. Win!

Nice man! My first car was a CJ5 i restored with my dad! Thing scared the SHIT out of me with no power anything lol... then moved into restoring a 70 datsun Z! Love restos... looks good man, keep up that tinkering.

The V8 in a little CJ is nuts but I love it. My buddy back in high school had a 77 CJ5 with the 304 ci V8, manual steering and manual brakes like Guns. Talk about testing ones abilites..........but boy did it haul ass.

I had a 1978 CJ7 it was a lot of fun. Someone put a full roll cage in it with a home made lift kit. (Only raised it like 4 inches) I love the thing. Sadly when someone did a rebuild on it they did not do it right (not me) and the oil filter would get a pin hole leak in it. I really miss the thing. I did my first carb rebuild on it. (I am not a mechanic I am a geek)
