Modern Warefare Prep

I found the barebones MW2 gametype is decent. Probably because I can't hit many KS in MW.

I might just switch back to mw2 starting next week, I feel the gameplay will be pretty close to mw2 minus the annoying perks (hopefully). I think that in addition to domination, I will be playing a lot of search and destroy (lots of points for leveling up).

Mw2 is trashed and hacked in most lobbies, nothing but overpowering grenades, nube tubes, choppers and harriers. I shot down 4 harriers, 2 chopper gunners and 3 spy planes in one game alone and died at least 20 times in the process as Dom is just a giant spawn trap......I am at level 31, thankfully there is a dbl xp weekend coming up.

stream try TDM, and camp that shit out! if you cant beat em, join em!

traded my copy of mw2 in when preordered mw3 and whenever BO2 comes out will prob do the same with BO.

cant stand the OP explosives, commando perk, OMA, but one good thing is that the shotties werent peices of shit and could actually be effective, i think they should have been primaries in mw2 and shotties should be secondaries in BO cuz they are not nearly as good.

i agree.

i find search and sabotage the best games to play atm as its more tactical killing rather than running noob tube with scav pro and just getting arse kicked.

Looking at some video for MW3 multiplayer, the SAM torrets look bad-ass compared to Blops. SAM torrets weren't really that necessary in Blops, but if the air traffic is anywhere near as chaotic as it was in MW2 I will be rolling SAMs all of the time. If anyone is looking to rank in MW2, then I would recommend rolling with the Stinger and shoot down everything that enters the air space. Shooting down harriers are worth 300 each time and only take one shot. Pavelows take 2 shots but are worth 400. You can usually collect about 3000 extra XPs a match just by rolling with the stinger.

I agree 100% with Beckville. Id have to say 99.9% of the roughly 7000 matches i have in MW2 are TDM and last night i can see why thats what i stick with. I played a bunch of TDM yesterday afternoon and it was enjoyable yet when i played some DOM with Savvy and Stream last night it was enough to make me want to puke and break my controller. The damn spawns dont flip or even change at all so once you get trapped you are toast. All the TDM i played i saw very little of tubes and OMA yet on DOM thats all everyone seems to use. Its pathetic and shows no skill. Even the shit talking is worse in DOM too. You'll see WAY more higher killstreaks in DOM as well since you can target the spawns. My suggestion for Savvy/Stream or anybody thats trying to prestige before MW3 is to play TDM. 100 for kills then shoot down whatever you can and you'll have plenty of xp. Savvy i know you like to creep around so TDM is perfect. Kill someone then move enough to wait for them to come back for revenge only to be killed again. The maps are bigger than BO so this play style can be done effectively. Also if you want to rush and you're playing with randumbs follow them close enough to see whoever kills them and where they are. Kinda like having a bullet magnet/human shield or a "spotter" to show you where the enemy is.

there are many spots on maps where you can simply sit and fire off launchers that land at B... and be out in the middle of nowhere with one man army... Dom is awful in MW2

Yea i played WaW yesterday and War seemed the mode to get the most XP. Considering you have a decent team but for solo I would definitely go for TDM.

Vegas, I noticed you was on WAW yesterday, so I thought maybe we could get a few together and play tonight if possible.Usandthem and I played a lil MW2 yesterday and it was terrible.Just a thought since I'm bored with BOs.

Hell yes. Gets pretty boring solo. I only have the original map packs though.

MW2 last night with savvy, sicarius, deathmistress, audio, & nixon was actually somewhat enjoyable (TDM).....It just goes to show evenplaying a marginal game with terrible mics with the >30< is even fun.....good times!

I just took MW, WAW back last week and traded them in for Assassains creed IV. I still kept MW2 just becuase the Spec Ops were fun and some of you still play. IF (note big if) I find time to get back on I will play some MW2 with you all. TDM is fun. I really liked Sabotage in MW2, but I haven't played it in awhile so it may be infested with OMA noob tubers like dom.

Thanks for putting up with my MW2 noobness (is that a word?). Last night was the 3rd time I played MW2, wasn't planning on playing it much, just wanted to check it out before MW3, but for the prestige token I will keep trying.......I'm only at level 8 so I have quite a way to go.

I don't like the funky robot effect the game has on people talking......I already have a hard time trying to understand people talking if I have the game loud enough to hear people sneakin' around

It was a fun change from Blops though, especially playin' with the clan

I will be on there again tonight and all this weekend....double xp starting Friday at 1:00pm est

Stream...depending on when I'll get back from hunting and gathering I'll join you on MW2 (going for the prestige as well, even though it seems futile)...I'm not even worried about the win...just wanna level up.
