| Beachhead posted on the COD community that clan operations are now in testing phase. Here's a preview. What I find very interesting is the amount of players on this thread that are PISSED. I include myself among them. Here we are, 3 months after launch, and they're still in the testing phase. Not to mention, PS3 users haven't even gotten the first set of DLC they were promised. |

| Should be up and running by the time BlOps 2 comes out. Expect a bunch of bugs, and a patch around the time the first BlOps 2 DLC map pack gets released. |

| I am dissapointed that the clan ops portion of elite is just now in the testing phase. It should have been ready from the beginning. Most of us will be 10-80 by the time that the clan ops is released and we are able to get the next couple of installments of our 2x-XP. Elite should have ran smoothly from the beginning. There is no excuse for it except improper planning and stupidity on their part.
But at the same time, I expected Xbox Elite to get the maps a month earlier than PS3 Elite just like they always have. I am not surprised that Xbox will be on their 2nd Dlc when we get our first one. This was no surprize to me at all. Money talks and microsoft had the money to put forward to get the early release. I cant say that I like it, but it been that way since the beginning and I wasn't expecting it to change just because of Elite.
So while I am dissapointed, I'm not near as angry as some of you guys. I still get my maps and that's what I bought Elite for in the first place.

The maps things does get to me. The only hope we have is that the Activision/MS DLC exclusive time frame is up in 2012 so Sony may get a chance to out bid MS and get the rights to early DLC. We will see. |

If they do bid on the early release, then I bet they start charging a Fee like Xbox live does for online play. Even if it's just for the COD series of games and not everything.

| You guys are forgetting, Elite is tied to BlOps also. It will be the same promises from Treyarch and BlOps2 (they have a paid google ad that they are hiring.) Some of us will pay to get the prepaid maps, more of us will not. They will dangle "loyalty re-up offers" and some of us will bite. Me most likely included.
The only comfort I take in the huge "$ucker" stamped on my forehead is that clan stuff should be polished by then. So on the road on the to 10-80 (or whatever they make it) we can have some good times with our brothers and sisters with whatever half developed game they throw at us.
Over30clan FTW! |

| I'm going to go back into my records. I believe that, since I purchased MW3 online as a pre-order, I paid with a credit card. Since the product does not meet my expectations in performance or service, I might see about filing a claim...... |

You go girl! I don't think it is worth it. I was the one who bought it without waiting for the beta or user reviews. I have no one to blame but myself for my poor purchasing decision. (As much as I want to blame the clan and told my wife I had to do it because all my friends were doing it the ultimate responsibility for purchasing it lies with me.) Oh well, I have been screwed worse in life and am sure I will be "snookered" again sometime in the future. I do hope that they get the elite operations up and going. That is the biggest draw I had to elite premium and so far has been the biggest let down of the elite experience. |

I've gone beyond mad and now am at peace with IW. If y'all don't mind I'm just gonna chill at the site until BlOps 2 comes out. |

| I also go it for the maps, saved a few bucks. All else is a bonus. I am disappointed about the clan ops, that double xp like The1 said won't be worth a crap if you are already at 10/80. maybe I will use that prestige token to reset. not for the xp but for the challenge. If you look at stats in a monthly status instead of all time I think everyone has improved in all departments. some well over 2kdr. Plus it only takes a couple weeks to prestige. |

| I'm hopeing the founder status will contiue to meen something in future games to come. With slow start they have got on this. When all is said and done I just have a hard time getting mad about any of it. With elite and the game I spent about 115$. I have about 6 days of game time so the way I see I have been enertained at about 92 cents an hour for 124 hours and thats not to shabby. |

| I'm upset about the delay as well. I had thought that I was paying the game developers for the early access, so to me it should make no difference what console I play it on. I also think that sooner or later we will be paying for the ps network access (or whatever they are calling it). They have already started testing the waters with thePlayStation plus to see what people will pay to play. I sprung for that just for the free downloads of some of the older games they have for download (they keep the kids busy). |

| All of the problems are at the most an annoyance to me.
Since my life does not revolve around what IW does or does not do, the impact on the quality of my life is nill, zero, big goose egg, nada, etc.
The $100 is way less than what I spend in a day in Vegas or Tahoe at the casinos.
So I took a gamble with MW3. I knew it, and took the money and blew it. So what!
It is a total waste?
Not for me.
I still get to play with people I enjoy talking to and joking with.
The lag sux, the match system sux, but I almost fell off the couch laughing the other day when Walldog gave Bee the FU sign. The funniest part was Bee's reaction. I laughed about it all night.
So is the game and elite perfect, no. But I didn't buy it for that reason.
I bought the game so I could continue to play with you guys, and gals, and laugh and wonder at Savvy's raging and Rif's jokes and on and on.
A bunch of us jumped into a private match the other day and played a few games against each other and it was a lot of fun. Reaver was in the match and I forgot how funny he is and how much I like playing with him.
Honestly, if was not for the clan and the enjoyment I get out of being in the clan I would not be playing this warm pile of scat.
While I hate giving IW any of my money, and I hate the empty promises, it does not make me mad.
They are a terrible company and if you look at it purely from the quality they produced then I got took to the cleaners.
But, if you look at it from the amount of enjoyment I get from hearing Savvy rampaging and the Mater impersonations (just to name of a few of the great things) then I figure I got a lot for my $100.
Do I really give a rats ass about IW? No. Will I allow them to make me mad? No. Will I buy their product again? If the clan goes that direction then yes.

| Well put Major, to me playing with the clan on MW3 the 99 I spent has been well worth it. I enjoy MW3 alot, it has issues but I am having fun for the most part. |

| Dear Elite,
You are a douchy tool. I am disappointed in you and disappointed in myself for spending the $100. I also have to endure the chiding from my wife who still makes fuin of me for going to a midnight release.
To just be entering testing is pretty silly at this point. The same guys who belong to organized groups are they same guys who will be 10-80 by the time this whole thing goes down.
I liked BO and will buy an 3arc product again I think.
I am not sure I will be an early purchaser of any IW products like this time around. If the group goes that way I will likely do it, but if there is another BF version that releases close to IW product I know where I will be.
Sincerly,
Wini The Disappointed |

| I have been reading through the complaints logged with the BBB. I'm fascinated with Activision's stance on the matter. Here is their offical response to one complainant that is unhappy with the delays in the Elite features. Complaint: 01/12/2012: ELITE package was supposed to be fully functional at delivery date. Was not and has not been fully functional since the release date. Gladly took my money for the inferior product but as of yet, has not delivered on promised service. Business response: Activision Publishing has acknowledged that Call of Duty ELITE had some complications at launch that resulted in certain features not functioning properly. Because of these problems on November 10th Activision Publishing credited all premium members an additional month of premium access to ELITE. This official statement can be found at the following link: http://www.callofduty.com/elite/toolbar/status.html. If the credited time was not acceptable and a refund is still desired than the customer will need to return to the retailer or online site where this product was purchased. So basically, if you dont like it, take it back to the store. I'll be sure to remember this when it comes time to choose between Elite or the basic package for future releases. |

| Canis, I try to amuse... lol Yeah that was pretty funny. Poor Bee. Not here to defend himself on the forum. I know he reads it, don't know why he doesn't ever post anything. I've maintained that as long as the comms started working, I would be ok with the game. Now that they are fixed, at least we can talk and laugh. I'll never be a 1.0+ K/D guy, so I'll do my part, cap my flags, go for my stealth bomber Final Kill cam and have fun. The game is doing that for me now. Elite, eh. Whatevers. If they get it working, great. If not, I haven't really thought about it, so I'm not missing anything. And yes, will wait on any IW game in the future. | |
