on the 4th of June they will revamp battlelog also so you will have to have IE9, google chrome, etc. to view it. IE8 will not be supported. just FYI.

Fixed an issue where footsteps couldn’t be heard behind you.

Overall it looks good. I'm anxious to see what the reduction in suppression does. I know when suppressed, even single, well aimed shots miss the mark. Better audio will help avoid knifings by Darkker, for sure

This. I use a lot of semi auto weapons and supression makes them worthless at 10 feet or more. I swear when suppressed the rounds leave the gun at right angles.

Is battlelog down today because of the updates, or is it just me?

I hope the patch is today and the map pack tomorrow or sooner.

Patch is today and already up. Map pack isnt for another 2 weeks i assume as there is now a premium icon on the menu. It says premium members have access to the DLC 2 weeks early starting today. So far the only servers i could get onto were europe ones and they were a touch laggy. It said north american ones would be online again when maintainence is finished.

Man I have a wired connection and this update is taking forever.

battlelog will be back online at 1:30 pst.

Just tried to log back into Battlelog. Battlelog said, "Battlelog will be back online during the E3 press conference. Check back at 13;30pdt/ 16:30 est/ 21:30 gmt/ 22:30 cest, soldier."

More maps, I guess I better get another PSN card.

downloaded the patch. got premium and downloaded close quarters. yea, i'm a sucker. Like with cod elite, will save in the end on maps. plus I got that overtime check.

Well Dammit. guess I won't get to be a cool kid and play with the big boys for a little bit. I forgot to get a couple of PSN cards and spent all my cash on ammo and will have to wait for next payday. I am very leery of getting the premium after that fiasco that Elite was. keep us posted on how it works out for you.

oh, and those tag takers, you know who you are, there is a new knife that you are equipped with.

I dont know that I care about the dlc, especially the next cqb pack.

It should be ok. new game modes, basically gun game, conquest domination (quicker capture times like cod) smaller sides. I won't even compare it to mw3 because there is no comparison. when bf3 comes equipped with unbearable lag and host migration to an even worse host I'll quit. we'll see how cqb will be, only 16 players so it shouldn't be as rough as metro. If dice has listened to the players, and they usually do, the smaller maps should be designed around that. Hopefully.

I too am wondering about the $15 I spent on Karkand. Do I get the physical warfare pack as well for that price? That one I did not buy...

I think I am going to see how DLC turns out. I think CQC has a good chance of turning into a mess.

If I hear it is good I will get it in a second as this is the best game I have played on console to date.
