Black Ops 2 - Do Kill Streaks Earn Kill Streaks?

Interesting. I can see how it would help people that play the objective, but what about all the poor randoms out there? I can see it totally sucking for them.

I think the goal is for even randumbs to try to play as a team. Mics will be key.

Kills are worth different points depending on when you get them.

Straight up kill - 25 pts
Kill while you are capping a flag, running around with the flag in CTF, etc. Doing something objective based - 100 points
Defends (kills) - 100 poitns

So going 25-2 might not get you as many points as going 15-15 depending on how you got your kills.

I'm watching this video now... Does anybody know what game mode this is?? Something in Spec Ops but I've never seen Survival like that.... A few things...

There is a kills x score in the center of the screen

at 1:11 it says something about picking up a Freeze Meter

at 1:27 he gets an emblem I'm not familiar with that's green with a + and hypodermic needle

at 1:37 he gets a red emblem with hypodermic needle and like a starburst

at 1:47 he gets a bonus pickup of 60 seconds

He's also picking up tags like in Kill Confirmed

At one point, the countdown clock at the top stops

around 4:50 his kill meter countdown thingy freezes

Gotcha...sounds awesome to me. Does he say anything about if the points from killstreaks count toward the next one?

Yes they do. I guess a kill from, say a chopper will be worth 50 points towards your next point streak, but a gun kill will be worth 100, and a cap will be 150. So everything counts but objectives and aiming skill counts more.

NES - he is playing chaos mode on Xbox. Dunno what those perks get you until we get chaos mode on PS3. The video has nothing to do with BO2.

He didn't but since it's all about the score I would assume so. Then again there was that kill streak meter on the side.

Perfect...I'm not much for the aiming skill, but I can make it happen every now and then.
