| This has occured twice now. Ironically both on Plaza.
Save my care package for the 2nd round on a Dom game as I usually do.
Spawn, throw marker grenade and run to cap spawn flag. Turn around and fellow 30 is taking my care package. WTF!!!!
If I was a better player or if the enemy was near it this wouldn't bother me but it was at the start of a round.
Didn't ask or say anything. These were also not the normal guys I play with
Cmon people
If its not your care package why are you taking it?????

| I've seen this a lot with ransoms. Throw a package and they are like vultures. Never seen it with another 30. If someone throws a package and then dies, I try to guard it until they can get back or say to take it. Had one instance today where two of us threw at the same time, I used engineer to flip mine to escort drone and in the meantime the other person accidentally started taking it. I just went over, rolled the other one to escort drone, then took it...so no harm done. | |

| If you have Engineer equipped, when you go up to a care package, it will say double tap square to reroll or hold to capture. | |

| I agree, whomever it was should be called out in some aspect; personally or publicly. That would tick me off if a random did it, let alone a fellow 30. | |

| Yeah jacking care packages can definitely put a downer on otherwise great experience. Another tip I have found useful is calling out dropping care package at specific location. This helps to avoid confusion, and some crazy bounces with 2 cps in same area, but also I have had 30s hang back and help to not lose em. |

| you can use the Palm Pilot O' Destruction, when you get a care package throw it off of the map or up in a building that way the only people who can jack it other Palm Pilot users |

| Personally i try to hang around and make sure the guy who dropped the CP gets it, by keeping watch for bad guys. If i come across an enemy CP though People seem to forget that playing games is about having fun, crappy behavior like that just gets everyones back up. |

| yeah you need to say something
i can't ever recall this happening to me - usually someone will just say "who's care pack is this?" because several times I've put it down to get shot by some POS in some corner and if I spawn far away from it - I'll tell the team whomever is near it just take it
anyone on our side having it vs the enemy is a plus

| Nelly, I apologize again bud. That was me that took your care package last night. That was the first friendly care package that I've swiped. It was sitting out in the open and I should have asked who it belonged to as it's proper etiquette to do so. Again, sorry about that!!! You can steal one of mine next time. | |

Oh man I felt really bad about it last night as it's not in my nature to steal stuff. Lapse in judgement on my part. It was the first thing I thought about this morning when I woke up lol

| I usually don't touch packages not belonging to me but I have "saved/stolen" one so I bit guilty of that as well. I wasn't sure who it was, so 2 enemies killed the owner and were trying to get it, so I killed them both and "saved" the package at that point i had 2 options. Save it or wait for the owner to respawn and come back to take it. In the process of number 2 if I get killed (there could be more enemies around) then the package will be used against us... so That's the logic I used and saved/stole the packge
In this situation if I die in the process of getting it and there is a risk that my package will be stolen by the enemy I really don't mind if another 30 take it... that's my personal opinion

| At least he admitted his mistake and apologized for it a lot of people wouldn't man up like that. I say forgive and forget. Just don't do it again.

| Playing with randoms I've resorted to throwing presents inside of buildings so it lands on top where its safe from most scavengers or off the map. There are too many vids on Youtube of trolls stealing packages that its starting to become the new "fun thing". I think there should be a bit of a longer capture time for PDAs if the pakage is not your own. | |

| Again last night it was Evan. At least he had the balls to own up to it. That's 3 different 30's.
@evandadda no hard feelings brah call it out next time.
The first 2 people took them right in front of me at the beginning of a round. Evan took it while it was I was like 15 ft away.
This time was also on Plaza.
I would rather not have to go hide and wait for my care package.
If we are getting stomped. Take it. If the score is close. Take it. If I die and spawn no where near it. Take it. If the enemy is near. Take it. If any of these arise I will always announce that its up for grabs.
Just don't take it if I AM NEXT TO IT or at the beginning of a round.
I know this seems like common sense but its happening too often.

| You know what I see here (other than a chance to piss people off)? I see a bunch of red names that need green names to remind them how to have fun. What would people do with out me. I have seen what happens around here in my absence but it is kind of scary to think what would happen if I just quit one day. This place would fall apart without me. |

| It's not a question of fun Sly. If stealing from others is fun for you, then we have different ideas of fun.
Granted it's a game and I'm sure Nels isn't losing sleep over it, but come on, let's have some respect for each other. If you are going to take someone's care package, at least announce it so they can tell you not to if they can still get to it.
