If this holds true it sounds like a awesome game. Time to get BO2 ready for trade-in!

Oh no... everyone's going to be sliding around and rolling and shit now... as if the dolphin diving wasn't bad enough lol. Hopefully this is balanced.
Sounds like they're trying to shake things up a bit... but the whole future with present day weapons things has me kinda 'meh. Go full on future with new weapons and shit. I don't wanna see an M16 or 1911 or FAL... give me a X3819 and some other made up (but believable) 75 years from now weapons and gear.
I mean am i the only one who thinks it would be cool to have 50+ weapons 100's of attachments and equipment and not a single one of them exists today?! Have some weapons inspired by old ones... the great great great grandson of some weapons like the M16/M4, P90 and Barret etc. Future holographic sighting with unlockable zooms and reticles and colors... build it into the "helmet" with a rail or something... take it off the gun and on the soldier etc. like the future soldier (real world) kits... There's just so much room for cool new stuff.
Regardless i'm excited and hope this "Ghosts" is better... i miss competitive, lag free CoD.

As I was trying to watch the video on YouTube, I kept having problems with it loading and the video would lag. I knew right then that it was a sign NOT to pre-order the game until it has proven itself to be worthy.

Funny how that unexpected reveal trailer mentions Ghosts and that is now believed to be the name of the game...

They listened alright... to the sound of their collective wallet getting even fatter! haha
No, but seriously... i also hope they made an effort to change things up. I'm dying to see this new slide, roll, peak round corners movement stuff. Those are the only changes that sound like they're trying. The interactive map things sound cool... but we know people will just rush there and camp, waiting to crush the other team with traps x, y or z.

Very true. I've always preferred COD4, MW2 and MW3 over the Treyarch's work. Its just me.

I loved MW3, honestly. Things I didn't like were small. Example, not being to resupply rockets, nades or gear. Other than that...loved it

The only thing I am listening for is "dedicated servers". If they don't do that with their M$ ties and utilize the "infinite power of the cloud" then they have done nothing with this game.

I guess Nuke is out...LOL. If they use dedicated servers the COD community will take a massive dump.

Yeah Nuke i hear ya buddy... i'm likely sticking to BF4, Starwars Battlefront X, Blacklight, Planetside and the such on PS4... dedicated servers def a big reason... or just no .025 second time to kill bullshit.

I am not going to jump out and buy it right away. i am going to see/read what people are saying about the online game play. The way the MP is setup it looks like they would have to run on dedicated servers but that makes to much sense so who knows.

I was NOT impressed with what i saw. More of the same. And everything is a bland, brown, drab mess.

Looks pretty damn good to me. They added more than I thought they would. The destructible environment looks great

I feel like COD is turning into Quake or Unreal Tournament haha... even faster more twitch of a shooter each iteration. Awesome for some who dig it... not so much for others who don't.
Only thing i saw that made me say "that's cool" was the one killstreak when you're a guy in a chopper with a sniper rifle... that's pretty badass. But i hate killstreaks and want a killstreak and sniper free mode haha so what do i know. I want skill based competition.

Not gonna happen in COD. Too much of an arcade shooter. You need a battle simulator

Nah, a battle simulator (See Arma 1-3) is not for me. I'm just talking about a more true, even playing field competitive FPS experience... like CounterStrike... but with iron sights, and all the COD customization of weapons. No perks, no killstreaks... guns, equipment, guys communicating and nice indoor/outdoor maps designed specifically for objective game types not TDM and FFA.
Example: Give one team (like R6V2) a casino or bank where one team must guard the money/vault and one team that has to infiltrate take it up out of the basement level to the roof for extraction in a chopper. Let players open & close doors and set up choke points... but allow multiple paths yada yada.
One day haha i know COD isn't that... and it's not fair that i want it to be... but i do lol.
