30 vs 30

My new favorite pass-time is to jump in against a full party of 30s (usually whoever Baller is rolling with).

I know some folks get annoyed by it, so I don't do it if I can tell that they're on the other squad, but it's fun to jump in and play against other 30s.

For a few reasons:
a) you know they'll be playing the objective
b) it usually good for a few laughs - trying to get troll kills (or watching the kill-cam show you getting owned by another 30)
c) i'd rather play against 30s than randoms

I've found that while it's damn near impossible to get a win - my score usually does better playing against 30s than with 30s. When I play with a full party, i try to just be a good team-member and hold down my "responsibility" for map control. But, playing against 30s, you can run around like a mad-man and rack up some points.

I do get torn about taking out their streaks though...I almost always run an EMP and I'll debate for a while if I want to take out a sentry or guardian...it just depends on if I'm have my try-hard panties on. I've been finding that those games are where I've been having the most fun lately...

I like it the other way around too - I like seeing a random 30 jump in against my full party. Always good for a chuckle or two...and you usually hear something like "ahhh shit, SwollenCamel just joined the other side"...

I encourage others to jump in against me if they see me online - errr...unless you're way better than I am (which would be most of you)...maybe I should re-think this whole thing.

I'm all for 30 on 30 violence - if we could only get a 9 v 9 all 30's - that would be fun. Or 6 v 6 moshpit - search would be much more fun = )

I love playing against 30s for the same reason that I get excited when I see people with a high SPM on the other team: I like a challenge.

When you play against your clan mates you really have to step up your game.

Sidebar - they need to nerf the EMP nades - it should at least take 2 to down a sentry.

So we should make it be know that the 1st rule of 30 on 30 is DONT BACK OUT TO PICK THEM UP!

Unless (A) you don't want to play against them or (B)....you don't want to play against them. LOL

Either ask if they want to be picked up or if they want to play on the other team. I've had it happen a few time were we almost had a lobby full of 30s then a party backs out to make up some massive cluster fuck of a party thats too big for even GW.
