Something about going back to a 'go-to' gun that has been on the shelf for a while - in this case the AN-94. It has that new gun feeling with a little extra spark ya know? You could call it.. a gunneymoon.

Hell yea man. Despite having to occasionally mute all pub lobbies in solo, getting my face QS'ed off sometimes and tempermental lobby connections, I love COD..
I know your comment is in jest, but let me break it down for ya
COD is like a relationship see, I put time and effort to build up my classes, acquire 'skill' (far from truly skilled, but relative to n00b, yea, skill ), map knowledge, etc. in exchange I get the satisfaction of multiple kill XP, achievements and oooo calling cards. Killing in COD is rewarding in a subconscious way.
I like the middle-of the road play style COD offers. You can run and gun, spider monkey style. Or you can strategize to a high degree with route selection, map control, classes and equipment, etc.
COD is also good for quick non-commital matches, wham bam, thank you ma'am..

Somebody Quick-scopes your heart, teabags your body and then leaves you for dead. Just like a real relationship???
I guess if you're lucky your "gun" got buffed.

This is how I feel when I'm playing BO2:

Cryptic, that does suck. I've been there hating BO2 for multiple reasons.. but we have to optimize as much as we can on our end and beat them other teams down.
Be it connection/lag (bypass router if possible, plug in vs. wifi, etc.), monitor vs big screen, controllers, class setups (target finder, controller sensitivity, whatever).. we need to adjust the dials just right to take it to the other guys and bend them over.. play as a team, and if all else fails.. a little inspiration!
