Great commentary. God i remember how stoked i was for Perfect Dark: Zero! I was a huge Perfect Dark, Golden Eye, Timesplitters fan so i actually liked Zero. It wasn't amazing... but it did play on some old memories. The multiplayer would have been great if it was easier to kill. It took FOREVER to take somoene down with the armor and shit... that was a mistake.
But again, good commentary and i'm with ya on all points. But starting PS4 for me

Yeah, I was really excited for PD0 and I played it for a little while, but didn't really grab me. It took until the following holiday season with Gears of War and Halo 3 (and then the next year with COD4) before we started seeing true next gen titles. It will be interesting to see what these first round of games look like. I wonder about AAA titles like BF4 and Ghosts being to fragmented (4 different platforms). I'm interested to see if Dice can finally deliver on the console with BF4. I played 1942, BFV and BF2 on the PC and all were great games, but have been disappointed with the console versions.

Good commentary, enjoyed it. I have heard a lot about BF, but never played it, but I might have to give it a go. I have pre-order a PS4 and Ghosts for PS3. I will probably keep my PS3 and pick up a few of the old games for the PS3, when I want to go retro. It seems like yesterday when I was playing my Tandy Pong. LOL
