Just another COD Ghost Update - Some Great news/some bad

So, Some of you might know this, some not...Just trying to spread whats going on.

The Good News

No matter what console you play on - Xbox 360/Xbox1/PS3/PS4 - Your rank/level/unlocks/DLC/Progression will all follow you...and here is the kicker...it will also do it on PC..so if you play on PC, or go to a friends house that has a PC & Ghost, you can play with your account.

The Bad news

There will be NO live streaming built in...there will also be no theater mode

No theatre mode...............might be handy for dem booster,lag switching, hacker types.

Oh well at least it'll keep some of the really bad video's off the net.

Yea, its no big deal as you will have your DVR, but yet,,you can't play as the booster and bust them...sucks

I doubt there will be any boosters in this game as they fixed all the problems from previous CODs. Plus they also fixed all the lag issues so you won't need to post vids on youtube about that either. So no need for the theater mode.

You can just stream with the PS4. Link Twitch to your PS4 and hit the share button.

Yes, sorry, let me rephrase what I said...

There will be a share button also on Xbox , just no Live stream...

Plus, i would rather live stream with the legato then the built in cap card

Ok, so forgive me if I seem like I don't know what any of this means, but what does it all mean?

Supports commentary? It will stream my chat as well during games? Do these games get saved to Twitch or just streamed, so they are gone after the game is over?

You will be able to live stream and do commentary as you are playing. You can also use the PS Eye for your camera.

Xbox one will have integrated twitch. I don't know about the differences between the different twitch apps/whatever.

As far as streaming and HD capture. The xbox one will be exactly like the xbox 360. The PS4 will use a new workaround instead of the one they had to use on the PS3 due to HDCP or whatever. Easy solution supposedly. Just have to buy a converter of some type. They sell em for like 40 bucks.

Now everybody can have a Let's Play Channel!!! Yeaaaaaaa

Just on the streamers part if their internet is rubbish.

If they take the new server situation to the next level and allow for "rentable" servers...boosting is done. At least on the rented ones

with rental severs the admen can control who is on the sever and who is not so boosting will be easyer people do it on pc rental severs !

True. Just don't play on them. Just like in BF. I would rent one for sure. Same for BF

An article I read seemed to indicate it'd be just like it is right now except with dedi's.

Thanks Okra, I couldn't imagine cod going to BF style servers.

One question about twitch, since I've never really used it. Is it live streaming? So nothing is "saved" for viewing later (like on youtube)?

Nope, both live and archived (i believe - correct my dumb ass if i'm wrong lol)... you can just go log on and view stuff that was live and is now archived... it's not too bad of a site/service.
